And that shouldn't be the case either should it? No LSU fan would defend that shite. Is this one of those childish, "well they're doing it so we're going to do it too" moments? The difference here is that Alabama fans would and do defend that kind of shite. Rece Davis was just on a roundtable discussion with four other people defending the targeting call and all four of the others were shaking their heads. Kirk Herbstreit was incredulous that Davis was defending the call.
Most Alabama fans, regardless of their position in life, are the biggest homers there are. They're completely incapable of being impartial and are an incredibly entitled an arrogant fan base with zero sense of proportion. They are the very definition of blind homerism and should never be allowed to have any kind of power over other institutions in which U of Alabama are involved.
What do you expect from a state that has no professional sports teams and the only other sports team that's worth a shite is its arch rival that also plays in the only sport you're successful in(Auburn/college football)?
BTW, the state of Alabama is also consistently in the top five for the most corrupt States.

Since we are talking apples to apples here, I bet the women's golf senior SEC official is also a LSU grad. Or is it the head of intramural frisbee? One or the other, but just goes to prove there is nothing to see when it comes to Alabama's influence with the other intercollegiate sport, football. It's like recruiting, everyone does it, so I can't say anything about Alabama.

should be mandated that each games reviews are done in house by a non conference official.

I have no idea what he does for the league, but he’s fully in the tank for Bama now. He’s one of the ones helping cover this thing up. He forbade anyone from asking the ref about the call. Like a mob consigliere would.
