Opinions on coaches evolve over time as things change and new information becomes available. Remember everyone thinking O had turned the corner and finally arrived in 2019? We learned a few months later that he was still the same old awful coach and that 2019 was an incredible fluke.

There ya go, you’re right there with them now. Congratulations

Brennan's flip flops didn't help either.

Thankyou dave aranda and joe burrow

You know one of the biggest responsibilities of a HC is to hire a great staff and recruit great players. No matter how you slice it, Ed O put together that team. It was because of Coach O that team was here.

Ed O helped give us the greatest college football team of all time, he’s good in my book.

Also, it’s always creepy and nerdy when posters go dig up comments from another poster from months ago.

Yeah, but on August 15th you were saying Brian kelly was building something special here when the cracks had been apparent for some of us.

That '18 game in TS when We whooped #2 UGA was fun. Was the day Burrow proclaimed that DV was, in fact, his fricking house.

I’m absolutely floored by the stupidity of this fanbase.

Somethings never change.

The guy who runs "Tiger Bait" said yesterday, Nuss's problem was he didn't practice enough.

How can any QB practice running for his life on every play.

Funny how it didn’t change the trajectory of the rest of the SEC.

8-4 (6-2) and interim. Still lost to Bama and Florida
9-4 (5 of our 9 wins came vs teams with only 4 wins all season. A 6th win vs FCS Chattanooga, a 7th vs 6-6 Ole Miss, and an 8th vs 7-6 TAMU. Of the 9 wins, 8 of them came vs teams with 6 losses or more).
10-3 (credit Dave Aranda for this. Dave had a top 10 defense minus the 7 OTs vs TAMU. That was on the refs. Burrow was terrible until the last 4 games of the season. The run game was inefficient as well. While they did run for 29 TDs and over 170 a game, they barely average 4 yards carry. We run the ball 43 times per game.
15-0 That's that good ole Lightning in a bottle

It was a perfect storm for a Team just coming off a Championship.

It’s a whole different perspective you have to coach with after that.

O didn’t run an airtight program and it fell apart.

Is what it is.

Ed Orgeron is one of the least talented coaches in SEC history. 2020 & 2021 were the real Ed Orgeron.

Only if you factor in Edwards, Carville, Woody and Pellini.

Hell, Saban couldn't win a Natty with that bunch selecting his Assistants.
