Remember the wild ride that was LSU Baseball last season

Started out ranked #4, lost the first midweek game on Feb. 21 against UNO 11-8.
Following weekend, 1-2 record in the Shriners Classic in Houston.
Midweek loss on March 8 to McNeese, 5-4.
Midweek loss on March 15 to UNO, 7-4 in that long arse 15 inning game.
Midweek loss on March 28 to Tulane, 7-6.
Series losses to Florida, A&M, and Kentucky.
Following a midweek loss to South Alabama on May 9, go on a 17-game win streak, including series sweeps of #13 Auburn and #11 Miss. State, along with a perfect run through the SEC Tournament.
Get throttled 13-1 by #1 Oregon State in Game 2 of the CWS, and then beat them twice in a row to make it to the Final. Lange/Hess pitching in the Friday game and Pap hitting the homers from both sides of the plate in the Saturday game were awesome.
Can't wait for another ride this year. Crawfish, warmer weather, and LSU baseball, it's the best time of year!

How are the SEC West teams looking? I hear State and Arkansas are supposed to be solid. Not sure about Ole Miss.

Baseball is a CRAZY game. I love it. One more week until we get baseball 3-5 days a week!

This was fricking epic man. Goosebumps thinking about the heart those boys played with.
The feeling of watching this video in prep for the big game was awesome.

I prefer the colder weather and football but I'm more excited for the reprise that baseball offers than normal this year. I'm sure it has to do with the trajectories of both programs but still.. If you weren't extremely pumped in game 3 against OSU, you don't have a heart. Those games were soo much fun to watch. The Auburn comeback was not even really a close second IMO.
Another year with O at the helm and I suspect that I'll be more excited for

Beating Oregon state in cws was the highlight of the season. That was incredibly exciting.

last year was a lot of fun for the people that didn't want to kill themselves after losing 5 midweek games. To a certain degree it was more fun than the 2009 season because we were playing from behind the entire SEC season and had to win 11 of our last 12 to win the SEC. Then we get in the loser's bracket to fight our way to the national title series, a position of which we are not familiar. Sucks Walker went down. Had he not, our pitching wouldn't have been so decimated by the time we got to Florida.
