She need a short jumper
Her game will not translate to the next level
She is still playing bully ball no finesse

How many times were you named 1st team All American and how many season records do you hold for double-doubles?

She’ll play at the next level for the rebounding alone. Offense should not through her anymore. Morrow is a much better offensive weapon.

She does. As does Morrow.

Kind of insane that we’ll return everyone except Van Lith

Edit: in response to OP, Reese really hasnt been good around the goal this year. No finesse around the rim. She just flails towards the goal and throws it up.

You don’t know WTF you’re talking about!
All Angel Reese needs to do is get much better at what she already does!

Dennis Rodman didn’t need a jump shot!

No one watches the WNBA. The only reason we watch college ball is because it says LSU on the jerseys.

Does it really matter if she plays at the next level, she would probably make more at Target than playing in the wnba

I doubt the "next level" is paying what she is making now.

The female version of Ben Simmons. Living off gods gifts with no effort put in by the player to get better. Pure laziness.

Her last bucket tonight looked really good. Iso play where she blew by her defender 1v1 and made a clean layup.

I agree, but posters are gonna downvote you by regurgitating her awards and her statistics. Truth is she isn't the best player on this team nor was she the best player last year. Optically her game looked terrible tonight. Same problems she always has. I do know that it works and that we will likely repeat, but I think its fair criticism.

I do think she should develop as a playmaker and as a shooter if she wants to have success in the WNBA, as bully ball isn't going to work when everyone at her position in the WNBA is stronger and just as tall if not taller. It hasn't worked as well in college when she faces teams that can match it. Iowa was soft and melted under the physical play of the entire LSU roster last year. We have that same level of physicality but also added many pieces that contribute to finesse in Williams, Morrow, and Van Lith.

I think Morrow is a better version of Angel. She's a better rebounder on the defensive side of the ball (although Angel is a better offensive rebounder), she is better at dropping the ball, and is a better shooter.

Again I know this post will be met with downvotes but I honestly don't care. I'm a big eye test guy and Angel's optics have always looked much worse than her statistics.

She hasn’t been practicing and played today what did you expect her to look like ? Morrow does look like the better player nonetheless though

Some miserable people complaining after a blowout of the #9 team in the country. Go root for another team! She hasn’t hooped in two weeks.. give the girl a little break.

Brunedog....what a idiotic post

The team has changed so much in the 2 weeks Angel was gone. Others have stepped up and she is not needed like she was.
LSU is loaded with ballers. Her game will come around soon enough, unlike your wisdom.
