Charlie Weis was in town last night having dinner with a transfer QB. Quit bitching so much.

Sorry you can't appreciate the pearls before you.

Based on your OP, your reaction is wholly unsurprising.

My post was not written for you.

That would be immature. Glad the Rant doesn't get to make these decisions.

You guys act like Ole Miss should just bend over. We stole their coach and half their staff at the height of their success. They are trying to stay relevant.

Just think if the roles were reversed!

Funny that I don't recall you complaining about Lane leaving.

Huge swing and miss. Huge.

Lane tried to stay and coach.

Ole Miss would not let him.

Reasoning for coaches to coach ole miss

Because even though it's now become a business for both players and coaches (and universities), the right thing for a college coach to do is finish the postseason for the playes. That being said, you must weigh the pros and cons that come along with this. At what point does the negative impact overshadow the right thing to do?

Well , Saban fired Golding . You can research why . Kiffin hires him and resurrects his career . I would expect more respect for Lane than what Golding delivered . He appeared disheveled and stated that “ they didnt need any MF ing basketball goals on the sidelines “. If you are representing a University , using language like that in a presser is not allowed , with good schools it can get you disciplined . Sarkesian acknowledged that Saban saved his career and in spite of bad calls against Tx vs Ala , he never criticized Nick and stated that Nick saved his career . Golding should be profusely kissing Kiffin’s butt for allowing
LSU coaches to coach an ungrateful Ole Miss . Additionally , the Ole Miss drive to promote tampering had to be addressed by the LSU AD and Kiffin . Personally , I would be more like Michael Corleone in this , Sallie , it’s business .

Also out of curiosity, what exactly is Ole Miss doing to be petty?

How about their a-hole AD accusing us of tampering while using our coaches?

It has become a business . And when LSU extends a friendly hand and they get dissed by Old Archie Manning and Eli Manning and Old Miss admin , why should they allow their employed coaches to coach for Old Miss ? Personally , without a national apology on all major channels , involving old fart Manning , these coaches would go back to LSU .

Kiffin resurrected Golding’s career . This is the gratitude he gets .
