LSU will need to win the turnover battle to win the game. UF will practice ball control, it's not going to be a high scoring game.

I just don't see this unless LSU shoots itself in the foot with a bunch of penalties and turnovers. FLA has a great D but hasn't faced an offense this good. FLA is not much of an offensive team and YES LSU has to come in focused and ready on D. BUT With the home crowd and what is on the line for LSU they will beat FLA pretty comfortable. I am seeing like 34-17. FLA does have one advantadge over any team LSU has played so far and that is TEAM SPEED.

they don't have an aaron murray which will help but they also don't have the swiss cheesy-ness of UGA's D either. i think this game will be like UGA but with less scoring and more punting.

Sooo.... how will it be the same????????

What your dumbass statistics don't show is a seasoned QB (and future NFL QB) who has been through the wars in the SEC vs. a 1st year starter who was a career backup who hasn't played a big game yet. Oh yeah.... may as well throw in another intangible while you are talking reality: the game is in Tiger Stadium. Fla. defense has yet to face wide receivers half as good as Beckham and Landry not to mention another future NFL skill player in Hill. We will stack the box and make their QB throw - just like teams did to LSU last season. 41-17 LSU. Nice try stat man....

Yeah, but the speed is on their D instead of their offense. They don't have their usual speed on offense, so that makes it a lot better in my eyes for LSU.

UF played ball control all the way to a 1 loss regular season last year. Muschamp knows the game and exactly what it will take to put a W on the board.

A negative turnover ratio in this game WILL SPELL bad news for LSU.

The good news for LSU is that they don't turn the ball over much at all. I'm sure UF's corners will be looking to pick some, but our WRs don't wait on the football, they go after it and so LSU should be okay there.

So, there you go. The statistics say LSU loses something like 24-17.

Even if the statistics are lying, LSU is in for a struggle.

OP was right in many ways, BUT, LSU stepped up and won a nice victory in convincing fashion.

The LSU Defense deserves praise.

Go figure someone with a play on "Cajun" in their name would be proved completely wrong.
