9-3 seems realistic......'Bama is the question mark, but A&M and Arky are very winnable and UAB seems like a slam-dunk

If we play like we did yesterday, the Tide could be in trouble, too...

Without catastrophic injury, 9-3 should be the floor. We can finish 10-2 with Herculean effort.

LSU squeaks one at home next weekend vs. Bama.

10-2, hello Atlanta.

11-3 final record including post season.

BK was a slam dunk.

Before the season, I would have said 7- 5 would be reasonable given the scope of the rebuild we were looking at. Now, 7 wins are pretty much guaranteed as a minimum and it's looking more like it will be 8 and 4 or 9 and 3 going into bowl season.

It's crazy to think it, but this team actually has a decent chance of winning 10 games, counting a bowl win.

9-3 in regular season, then we win the ... uhhh ... Las Vegas Bowl for win No. 10.

But think about it. With as ragged a team as we had last season, we had the ball three times in Alabama territory in the fourth quarter with the Gumps leading by only six points. That was in Tuscaloosa, with Max Johnson as our quarterback. On one of those possessions, we were stopped at the Alabama 7-yard line.

So don't say the "impossible" can't happen...

I'm guessing that you are assuming that Ole Miss will lose to Bama. While that is very likely, it isn't guaranteed.

Late reply, but yes. I would assume ole miss drops one of their 4 remaining SEC games of aTm, Bama, Arky and State. I just don't see ole miss beating Bama with such a weak passing attack and such a weak run defense. LSU held them to 3ypc without Will Anderson (Perkins is insane but he isn't anywhere near Anderson as a complete LB yet), and LSU doesn't have a game breaking RB in Jamyr Ghibs. I also wouldn't be surprised if Arkansas runs it up there throat either, ole miss run defense is dogshit.

Not if OM somehow runs the table.

After watching OM game, I"m calling 10-2, if we can start playing 4 qtrs. of complete football.
9-3 if we play our usual 3 qtrs. and spot our opponent 14 points.

I think we can beat Ark., UAB and A&M in 3qtrs. - not bama.

It’s crazy that 8 games into the season and we control our own destiny to the SEC championship and probably playoff. Not saying we will do that but we still mathematically could even at this late date.
