2) Michael Penix Jr (good runner and best deep ball)
really
last night was the first time that i've seen him play but, he overthrew several open receivers down field.

When OP said "elite dual threat QB", the first name I thought of was KJ Jefferson.

DT to me means people fear both attributes of your game. No SEC DCs fear our passing attack beyond ten yards. Perhaps that will change next season.

I always kinda like Washington, so I’ve watched Penix several times this year. He was off last night for sure.
He led the NCAA in yards this year — over 4,000– and we didn’t see that last night. Keep an eye on him next year, he’s fun to watch.

Penix is the best one of the bunch.

quote:Again, KLUBNIK HAS DONE NOTHING!!! When I watched Caleb Williams play last year I knew the kid was special, elite special. That Klubnik kid could end up good, but he's not shown that. So many people wanted to anoint him the savior because he threw a few passes against 2 horrific defenses. He has the same cmp% as DJ U averaged 7 yards a pass, and has 2 TD passes to 3 ints. I will say this though, he runs WAY more than I think he would have.
Klubnik has done nothing"....watch tonites game and tell me that when its finished....Klubnik is better than the 3 mentioned QB's referenced in this thread and along with Williams they are the 2 best QB's in college football next year....that's whey he's in the top 4 in the 2023 Heisman Watch list....remember this kid eat Walker Howards lunch at the Elite 11..
I still say it was BS that he was ranked higher than Walker Howard.

I wouldn’t call JD the most accurate. This is a product of taking the
least chances and not throwing the ball deep. The strength of our receivers is
the ability to stretch the field, but we don’t exploit it. While Nuss throws many
I’ll advised passes, he showed the capability of what would happen if we threw
deep

What makes anyone think JD is an accurate passer. He isn't other than 5 yd hitches. Otherwise he is about as inaccurate as I have seen on good teams. That is why he runs so often, he knows it.

Watch out. The betas will hit you with their purses.
