We don't know that. Coach O went and got Burrow and he has out recruited Herman. We wouldn't have had the same players or coaches. Last year was a perfect storm and replacing Coach O with Herman would have changed a lot of that. Herman has not shown he can win his conference much less a Natty

Herman would have locked down Burrow without a doubt. He talked Meyer into offering him at OSU and they maintain a close relationship. That part would have been like shooting a duck on the pond. The rest IDK.

Exactly, just because he couldn’t be what Texas wanted doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have had success here. We weren’t broken like Texas was. We just needed to open up our offense. All the other parts were in place.

If you look at the last three head coaches at LSU, they all won National Championships. I'm not sure if Tom Herman would have won a Natty, but he definitely would have done better at LSU in the last four seasons than he did at Texas.
Also, the part where you said he didn't recruit great classes at Texas is not true. He has been in the Top 10 consistently. LSU is usually around No. 4, and Texas is usually around No. 6.

I did NOT want Herman... he seemed like an insincere, untrustworthy douche.
With that, I also didn't want O... I was pulling for Justin Fuente, who now has a stellar record of 38–26 at VaTech
