Ok seriously, I actually like us a lot in poor weather.

No.

Run game. Not passing game if it’s wet.

Nope. Even on the simpler routes, the DBs can't adjust as well to the WR moves in the rain. DE's can't get that mega-traction they need to bust around the edge. Big run game in the rain is a myth, too. Big guys slipping everywhere, RBs can't cut as well.

I know the kid has struggled this year but if he’s not hustling on the 2nd play of the game and trips the receiver from behind, UF scores a TD and this is very possibly a totally different game.

I hope McGlothern gets to see as much playing time as he did vs. Florida.

Ole Miss gives up 5.6 yds per rushing attempt which is a good bit worse than even South Carolina. We should be able to run on them all night.

If you've ever played WR at any level this is one of the first things engrained into your head. WR has a HUGE advantage over DB's in the rain. You know when/where/how you're cutting. DB's start most plays in a backpedal and are reacting. They're more likely to slip/be slow off the break.

You know what’s sad is I had to google LSU’s schedule to even see where this game is being played. Didn’t know it was a home game.
