I’m not sure how you could be upset with someone suggesting LSU will go over the Vegas over/under for win total for the season.

What’s this love for Arkansas. We should have beat them last year

I don't think they are that great, but they went 9-4 last year and are returning their QB who played pretty well. I think we could win this year, but wouldn't be surprised if we lost at their place.

Why is TN getting so much love his year? Doesn't add up. One guy picks them to beat AL.

If I were to pick LSU to go 8-4, those are the 4 losses I would predict.

Sadly, Alabama beating LSU in Baton Rouge (with few exceptions) has been a decades long occurrence. LSU doesn't seem to ever play well in Arkansas. A&M is a wildcard, but it seems recently they have been just good enough at home to get by LSU there. Tennessee just seems like that wacky unexpected home loss.

Don't get me wrong, I think LSU can will every game except for the one vs. Alabama. But if I had to predict four losses, those would be my 4.

Their offense. Just use the same outlook people here use to get pissed off for an 8-4 prediction and apply it to a team who was better than us last year and didn’t have a coaching change.

I think LSU beats Tennessee at home. I think at UF or this FSU are just as likely, or more likely losses than Tennessee. UF will be tough because it’s in the Swamp and FSU is the first game. I expect this LSU to be better in October than it is right now.

Arkansas is going to be very good this year as long as their secondary holds up. They return nearly every starter on both sides of the ball. I think they actually finish 2nd in the West this year.

Meh...they are in the middle of the SEC pack in terms of returning production. 2 of their DBs are at LSU now, and their biggest offensive weapon is in the NFL. They return 6 starters on offense and 5 on defense.

I do not believe Tennessee is better than us. We’ve out recruited them every year

Would anyone honestly not take an 8-4 year his year if we are in every game, and continue recruiting at a top 5 level with O and D linemen?

I would gladly take 8-4 and continue the alignment. But even 8-4 might be a bit optimistic considering how thin they are, especially in the Secondary. With this front 7 I'd be more confident if teams still ran the ball in the SEC.

Texas A&M lost a lot from last year‘s team. I don’t see them being a better team this year. We beat them last year and we should be much better this year. That will be a win for the good guys. Tennessee is a tough one to figure out right now. We should know more as the game approaches. Frankly, they blew a few games last year where I thought they were clearly the better team. Just not confident they put it all together yet. LSU and Arkansas will come down to two things. Is he the team playing for something and whether or not injuries have impacted a particular position group.

My biggest concern going into the season is PK. We have had great kickers the last few years. Scored a lot of points from 40 plus yards out in some big games. 6–9 points is a big swing and a close game. Hopefully it’s sorted by the time Mississippi state comes to town. If we are strong and the police kicking department, I see three losses Max. If we are weak I see five losses.

So LSU could go 3 - 9? Not bad for a $100 Million Coach ...
