Quit complaining about Baker! He was average at best under Kelly and Kiffin kept him!

Some of you need to lay off the Kiffin Kool-aid because the buck begins and ends with him and he was the one that decided to keep Baker, who has been more below average than average since he arrived at LSU!
The only one to blame is Kiffin, period! Yes, Kiffin, the coach who has already lost two games to two first-year HCs, who have a combined 11 games as a HC at any level.

He probably kept him to keep 1 side of the ball stable schematically and financially. He knew he had to rebuild the entire offense and it would require a lot of money, time and resources. If Baker left, there was a good chance we’d lost some players to the portal and recruits. He upgraded the talent on defense to help Baker and hopefully improve the defense. The injuries and dumb soft zone scheme has negated any improvement on that side of the ball and I think Kiffin replaces Baker once the offensive side of the ball is stabilized.

He’s not that bad. People are way overreacting. You can argue that he’s paid too much, but he’s serviceable.

If that's the case, then that's another reason to criticize Kiffin. I don't think that's the case because this is not the first, second or even third time Baker has allowed an offense to run through his defense when the game was on the line.
But it goes back to Kiffin for keeping him!
