Question for board lawyers. Does suing LSU and not Texas hurt the SEC’s case?

That is a point LSU will bring up and make Sankey answer. Its one of the reasons why this lawsuit is so stupid.

I am not a lawyer. However I don’t see how the SEC wins this, and I think they’re making it worse for themselves by even trying.

A judge in Dallas just made a ruling last week in this situation and Sankey was nowhere to be found.

Hutson was paid by multiple NFL teams to participate in multiple mini-camps where he had to sign multiple medical waivers, which are contracts.

The SEC seems to be saying LSU approached these players to enact all this. They can claim Texas was only a participant after the fact. It won't hold up because the rest of the suit is just total bs. None of this is irrecoverable harm for the SEC.
