Yet he was ineligible before the same brand of TRO. The SEC’s hyper fixated focus on this specific case is going to hurt its overall case. As it should.
By allowing these other players they’re effectively admitting the 5 for 5 should’ve included the class of 2022. Which then gives merit to players that “declared” just because they thought they had to and went through camps.

And the fact that Mizzou and Kentucky were recruiting TJ Harden. And if the idiots who always pushback against Cole Hutson with he didn’t sign a contract. Harden actually signed a contract and played in a preseason game. The players that LSU recruited also were recruited by other teams so this is stupid

Did the Texas player receive ONE MOTHERFLUCKING penny or more in per diem, equipment, clothing, heath/injury care compensation from an NFL team??????
Did they sign any agreement to settle any disputes with arbitration, a potential injury settlement if injured during NFL camp etc...?

Which is only a point because the SEC hastily and reactively spun up a policy that cleared Texas but not LSU.

Yes, the SEC just exposed themselves to a massive countersuit and damages from LSU. Sankey will be fired by the end of this. Stay strong Tiger fans.

I just had a thought while discussing this with a friend who is a Florida fan. Is there a particular reason the SEC’s position had to be written to basically only exclude LSU from signing more players? They could have easily just said the class of 2022 is ineligible, and fought with Ole Miss instead with a more air tight position. Seems like they set themselves up to fail by trying to let it go on for everybody but one coach and school.
