Right or wrong, fair or unfair, the LSU fanbase doesn't like it. And, if things go south, this will harm Kelly. This isn't the move of a confident coach.

Speak for yourself you fricking moron. Any fan that is not a moron wants every possible competitive advantage.

It will have no bearing whatsoever on Kelly’s longevity here.

I love this decision.

But go ahead and take an opportunity to educate me. Why would you possibly need this information any time sooner than first possession ?

This is what I'm dying to know. People are acting like this will actually affect something.

We know enough about both to prepare a certain way. It’s a smart move to keep FSU from developing a specific game plan around one vs the other.

People don’t like it because we are all dying to know, but strategically it makes sense. It’s been done a thousand times over the years.

Same. The team knows who is starting. Not announcing it publicly will in no way, shape, or form hurt LSU. The only negative is whiny arse fans bitching and that doesn't mean dick to Kelly or his team.

Even if Fl St. is 99% sure who LSU is going to start, LSU not announcing forces them to game plan for both QBs. Any time taken away from game planning for the actual starter is a positive for LSU. No, LSU does not need this advantage but when the decision has no downside and only a possible upside, it's stupid not to take the advantage.

As it should be. No need to give the opponent anything to prepare for.

I can see the possibility of Daniels doing the 1st half and Nuss playing the 2nd half.

Possibly, but Daniels would have to be completely ineffective and LSU way behind at the end of the half, or LSU running away with it by then for this to happen.

Im fine not naming one and enjoy the tactical side of this but both QBs are similar with one having a slightly better arm and one being slightly quicker by all accounts. I just don't see where the advantage is from a preperation or game planning standpoint for FLA st. Its the same offense but mabe the play calling on gameday changes slightly but I feel like they prepare the same for either QB. If it was Myles or Jayden i could see it...

It's almost as if some of our fans feel the sole purpose of LSU football is to please them. frick that. Whatever they can do to make the opposition have to guess and double prepare, the better. It's a HUGE advantage.

I understand that. I was responding to the comment that I quoted that said "I wouldn't have told Brennan shite". I was just saying why that would have been a poor decision, not that I disagree with how it's currently being handled.

Probably not much of a real advantage but hey, we’ll take whatever we can get…

Would be different if one guy couldn’t pass or run to either side. Like the point guard in third grade that could only dribble with his right hand.

What part of "we've named a starter but we're not announcing it publicly" do you not understand?

Again, I understand all of it.

I suppose you failed to understand that I was responding to the comment in which I quoted that said we should have kept all 3 in suspense.

Upvote for using “that hoe” in a sentence.

I don’t for a sec think that CBK doesn’t know who starts on Sunday. As has already been said, peak alignment. Bosses gonna boss.

How does Coach Kelly expect me develop a fictional game plan if I don't know who the QB is going to be?

You realize Kelly knows who is starting, correct?

Why does he need to tell anyone outside the program?
