Yeah and those younger guys that Miles recruited should never have taken a snap at LSU

Leslie Miles was the reason LSU couldn’t attract legit QBs

He was behind an Undrafted QB for 3 years before that.

I remember Rohan Davey looked like a project his sophomore year. Did pretty well in his last two years. He had the arm, and so does Brennan. So we'll see...

So glad Eaux has stabilized this program. He’s done an awesome job recruiting quarterbacks and coaching them up

who? he almost cost brennan to not sign with lsu. he gets props for getting Burrow to choose lsu over Cincinnati.

This is not a De-commit, this is a way to explore all other options as LSU is going through transitions to have a back up plan if needed!

Brennan briefly explored a backup plan in case LSU signed Kiffin and Tua.

Mett played a few games over two seasons. Etling was waived by New England, cleared waivers, and is on their practice squad. He is expected to be cut before training camp now that Stidham has been drafted by the Patriots.

That’s all you can brag about over an 11 year LSU career?

he started a game in the nfl.
he was a nfl qb.
your opinion doesnt outweigh the nfl record books

again, thats called a nfl qb

your opinion doesnt outweigh the NFL's opinion on what constitutes a nfl qb.

I'm worried about Myles a bit. Am I wrong?

What are you worried about? Specifically.

Really asking, not trying to be a jerk.

I don't think he lacks potential. I just worry about his frame. Body type etc. You can tell by my username I'm a fitness guy so maybe I put too much stock in it. But didn't he come in super light?
(Sick Gainz is my workout program I'm promoting in new orleans. Shameless plug)

I'm with you there. The kid has seemed to struggle trying to put on needed pounds but I was impressed with his poise last season, the little bit we did get to see of him.

Very. You worry about him getting hurt out there but I've read that he's put on weight (finally)

I do think it's Burrow as the starter barring some injury but I think we'll see more of Brennan this season too though. He needs the playing time. Not saying it'll be a 2 QB thing, just that he'll get more time than he did last season.

what the frick is this stupid shite....

Edit: OP has no long term experience on how QB’s in college work. Betting on more than 2 guys at once is not a good idea. And OP is betting on 4 guys and says we are “set.”

Not convinced Brennan takes a meaningful snap for LSU.

Pretty uninformed opinion. He will take meaningful snaps this year and start next year. Its Burrows job to lose but Brennan will be in the NFL.

I can see both of them being in the NFL. Brennan has to get more playing time though. Not saying he has to start but he has to play more than he did last season.
