Not convinced Brennan takes a meaningful snap for LSU.

Pretty uninformed opinion

This. Brennan is going to be a more than capable QB for LSU. He's got a great arm and by the time next season rolls around he'll have the time in the system. Ed has said that Brennan will be a championship QB for LSU and I believe that.

If O can't get Burrow to win at least the west this season, there's a very good chance that Brennan won't get it done when you consider all the players that are gone after this season.

After this season, while you'll have some players remaining but you won't have all these seasoned guys that have been there for 2+ years.

Brennan will be the heir apparent. The rest is sort of starting anew. DL, OL, linebackers, safeties.....

So to recap, the poster said Miles was the reason LSU couldn’t sign a top-flight QB and your best rebuttal is a QB that bounced between a couple of teams in a very short, unsuccessful NFL career and a QB that’s yet to spend even one week on an active NFL roster.

That sure does highlight the rich QB tradition of Miles’ tenure.

I’m starting to think Ricky is actually Ben or Cathy Miles. I love Les Miles and pulled for him until he was gone, just like I have with every coach LSU has had in my lifetime. But this nonsense of defending his QB acumen is absurd.

Lets make it ten- Cooper's son breaks the Manning mold and signs with LSU. The Archie and Eli legacy are over 20 years old and Ole Miss is no longer viable, TTennesse is still middle of teh pack so Uncle Peyton has no influence. Meanwhile everyone wants to go t oLSU to join the Brady Steamroller Part 2 with two titles and a runner up in the past four years.
smooth operator in 7/7 for sure.....

I've never seen a player that hasn't done anything, get more hype than Brennan has thus far. The only attribute you guys are leaning on is he has strong arm.

He didn't show good poise in the pocket in the spring and he's not as accurate as people claimed him to be.

When the same "strong arm" argument is brought up with OTHER QB prospects or potential starters, the first thing people yell is "Brandon Harris had a strong arm too."

Brennan’s achievements:
69% completion rate in HS
Over 15,000 yards in 3 seasons
165 TD passes to 20 ints.
Holds every passing record in the state of MS
and a bunch nationally.
Ranked higher is stats and achievements than Tua, Fromm, Mond, Ehlinger coming out of HS.
I don’t give a darn if he was playing touch football in the back yard those type of achievements don’t come easy and that kind of talent doesn’t just disappear.
Brennan will prove to be one of the best QBs to ever play at LSU.. If Brennan is so bad and lacks so much talent why did McMillan, Narcisse and others transfer from the program if they believed they were going to be next in line? And by the way, Brennan played behind a 5th year senior his freshman year and a senior graduate transfer his second year. His time is coming..
so get ready.

I'm pretty high on Parrish. Can't wait to hear how he's doing in practice.

Its Burrows job to lose but Brennan will be in the NFL.
It's not Burrow's "job to lose." Burrow has the job locked up, and has since he transferred here.

And what on God's green earth have you seen from from Brennan to say he'll be an NFL QB?

Strong arm? Great, there are a ton of guys out there with a strong arm. If only it were that simple.

Injuries, grades, egos. But I hope you are right and a plan is at least in place.

The only reason Burrow is at LSU is because the staff saw Brennan isn’t the answer.

Brennan was being called the "slim reaper" in that spring game last year. He still looked like a high school size player one full year into college. If he keeps gaining weight and can take some hits as a junior/senior, he will be great. He has a better arm than Burrow.

So much delusion, its crazy. He may end up being very good, maybe not. He has done nothing so far that warrants statements like this to be even made.

What he does in HS is irrelevant to his college career.

I remember Rohan Davey looked like a project his sophomore year. Did pretty well in his last two years. He had the arm, and so does Brennan. So we'll see...

Yeah Dinardo had some HS Teacher as QB Coach for Nall, Davey, and Booty. When Saban came he brought in Jimbo. Davey, Booty, Mauck, JR, and Flynn. Then Jimbo left and Les brought in his offense.

its amazing how youll shite on etling so you dont have to admit O had an offense full of future nfl players in 2017.

both guys i mentioned are nfl qbs. deal with it boy. your opinion on what constitutes a nfl qb doesnt outweigh the NFL's opinion on what constitutes a nfl qb.

Seems like another Jalen Hurts, which is good because Hurts has a very high football IQ.

No more Chris Garrets and Steven Rivers, please...
