I'd like to see the LSU special teams get back to trick plays. Like against SC 2007 and UF 2010 2015 where the holder throws and pass to the kicker for a TD or 1st down. McMillian needs to be ready.

I'll say this he's (Brennan) got a quick release and throws a zinger. No chance that receiver has to slow down to wait for that ball. The WR be chasing that ball.

CP3 I agree and believe it was to stagger the time as well.

If Narcisse can run and throw like everyone has said then he obviously gives us a better chance to win games.
"Everyone" that says that is lying. He hasn't played in a game in 3 years, so they haven't seen him actually play in a game. (Unless they saw him play at St.James)

They don't know if he can run AND throw. They're only hoping that he can do both effectively.

He's only taken reps in practice. Practice reports say he looks like Brandon Harris. Athletic with quick feet. Strong arm, but is a very inaccurate passer.......

I agree with the battle next season is far from being over. Our St. James young man will have his legs back and it will be a good battle.

We had Bama beat this year in Tuscaloosa with just an ACCURATE QB. We had them beat in BR in 2012 (Mett) and 2014 (Jennings). And we potentially had them beat in 2016 in BR with a QB not scared by the bright lights.

Moral victories. We’ve lost 7 in a row to them. It will be 15+ unless we find a coach who understands football. And, of course a Qb.

Would love to see Narcisse turn out to be great, but he has not played much in more than two years now. I imagine that the QB position will be put to an open competition. That said, if knuckle head and Canada are diametrically opposed about the QB or any other vital aspect of the offense, things could go sideways for this team next year. Just my opinion.

Matt Canada is gone after the season.

Is this just some puerile schtick or do you actually know what you are saying? If you know, please let the rest of us in on it.

Thanks in advance.

No chance. There's a clear reason Brennan was the backup and it wasn't because O has a crush on him.

Clear to who? We havent seen anyone else.

I've never taken their making Brennan the backup as a sign that they prefer him over Narcisse.

It most certainly is as sign that they prefer MB over LN. Why? Time will tell.

if not the best QB at the Elite 11

Not true.

He did hold offers from Ole Miss

Late none committable after his coach fussed about him not getting one, and another QB was already to committed to Ole Miss.

quote:

He also had offers from OK St and Cal

Ok State didnt offer until Late november despite the fact that he camped there. Cal was a late noncommittable offer.

quote:

I think the fact that he committed early cut down a lot of the offers.

I think the slight frame gave schools pause

quote:

Narcisse may be great, but I think he is considered raw

So is MB

reconstructed knees and has played football since 2015.

It's common knowledge that Canada wants a dual threat QB, and if Narcisse is healthy and has any ability to throw the football I have to believe Canada would prefer him.

Where do you people come from? If you have listened or even studied Canada from years past, he runs a system around his QB, not the other way around. I understand the want and need for a Duel Threat QB(actually I don’t), but why do people really think Narcisse is the answer? The guy is coming off of two knee surgeries. Not one but two. He was injury prone before signing day. He added depth but expecting a guy who has had two knee surgeries to be “mobile” is quite a fantasy. Pretty sure these are the same idiots who wanted Jordan Jefferson, who I remind you, had the accraucy of a Storm Trooper. That’s why Lee had to come in a save the day in 2010 and God knows why Lee lost the job in 2011(we will never know that mystery). Y’all just need to pump the brakes.

Really? I like Brennan and think we can win with him. But Narcisse wasn't near 100%, and I think he will push for that spot.
