QB advice from the great Dan Orlovsky?

I just rewatched the game and had to hit mute so I wouldn't have to listen to Orlovsky's nonsense again. Isn't this the same dumbass that said Joe isn't on the same level as Trevor Lawrence? Called Joe a system quarterback? He's just trying to stir shite up with LSU since Joe made him look like a fool on 1/13.
And what the F does this guy know about being a good starting QB? He started 12 games in 10 years. He was the starting QB for the worst team in NFL history. His biggest accomplishment was running through the back of the endzone for a safety.
Dude is a Danielsonesque douche that just loves to hear himself talk and throws shite at the wall to see what sticks. Laughingstock thinks Myles should enter the transfer portal but is confused on where the back line of the endzone is.

He was so bad in the booth Saturday. It was like watching a game with that friend that kind of knows football and yells about what the team should’ve done after the fact.

Dan Orlovsky is a rando.
How tf, where tf, who tf is this clown?
- Tv Network finds an unemployed qb, slaps on a sub par Marty haircut, claims he’s a whisperer/master evaluator/has better opinion than Lester Earl, etc.

Orlovsky watched zero film of LSU this season. He doesn’t even know why we were 1-2. His only commentary was about the team last year. The guy wants to have a controversial take on things; it’s just how he’s been trained to be on TV.

I had to mute it. Listen to the LSU broadcast, couldn’t never get it synced up but it was still better than listening to that dude.
I recall the negative comments from last year on Burrow and the team. He will move up within the ESPN family of networks....

Do you all know where I can listen to the LSU broadcast during the game if I do not live in NO/BR?

Well.... Orlovsky and Danielson both played for the hapless Detroit Lions at one time in their careers, so they have that going for them. Lol

Radio station 98.1-Baton Rouge. It has Pre/Postgame commentary also.

Announcers are all over the place. Holding a grudge against one for something they said last year is wasted energy. I thought he was fine Saturday night.
Judge them on a game by game basis.
Was it the constant praise and admiration for our true freshman QB? I really don’t understand what some people hear sometimes. Dude was loving our offense, and his bashing of the defense is what we’re all thinking anyway. Pretty spot on most of the night.
I’ll give you this: he’s a much better color analyst than he is a studio talking head.

He’s a goofball that is a temporary ESPN darling because he “tells it like it is,” and “isn’t afraid to get controversial.” He’ll disappear after a while.
I get they were bored in the booth, but his comments about Myles transferring were totally uncalled for and a lame attempt at hyperbole.

Do people really pay that much attention to what the announcers are saying? I'm usually hyperfocused on the game and I tune them out.

I can't say he bothered me at all. Maybe because we won big

Gary Danielson is very knowledgeable and of the best in the business.
Dan Orlovsky is horrible. He listed “Don’t do anything to lose the game” as one of the keys for freshman TJ Finley in his first start.
