I don't believe so. Haven't heard anything about him being hurt. Our outfield is loaded this year.

IMO he is a damn good player, and if he got passed up then LSU is loaded.

Are we even going to get a chance to see how Milam and Braswell look at their new positions?

He was damn good for us last year.

From everything I've read and listened to, it appears he did get passed up.

Larson will be in the mix for DH. Curiel has been the most consistent hitter on the team in spring/fall practices, JJ loves Stanfield's athleticism in CF, and Brown has probably been the second best hitter behind Curiel.

Larson started slow in the fall and started heating up recently in the scrimmages. Pearson probably got the seniority start on opening day, but Larson and others will be battling hard for the DH spot as the season progresses.

He doesn’t have the athleticism or the arm that the rest of the outfield has. He’s going to have to hit way better than the rest of them to supplant them. You’ll see him at DH at some point this weekend I’m sure.

I confess i’m not as familiar with last year’s Grambling roster as Lyn thinks I might be.
