Yup, they sure do. Im thankful for them tonight. Like I said, I'll eat crow. He def came through tonight by getting on base. If you watched the game tonight, you cant honestly tell me you had any confidence whatsoever in any AB when Laird came up to bat. Tonight was an outlier. Well, technically not an outlier because he actually hit one ball solid the entire game. Not trying to start a big debate, just defending my statement.

Laird had the right approach tonight. He just shortened it up, and made contact...Everyone else was trying for walks, or homers, and just couldn't barrel it up...

Laird must have plowed your girlfriend or something. You have a mad for him.
If Laird could bunt just a little better it would be hard to take him out if that 2-hole.

Yea, Laird plowed my girlfriend. That's surely it. It has nothing to do with me wanting to better LSU's chances.

Props to all of our awesome fans who have been criticizing him for weeks saying he needs to sit because he can't hit, despite hitting around .290 as a true freshman.

I only posted the stats since a&m. Far be it from this board to care about stats though. I'm not huge on Laird but people are stuck on 2 months ago Laird. This board...

Laird plummeted starting around the Kentucky series then he started holding steady a little under .300. But it's been working back up. So he's been batting a little better .300 since the end of his bad slump. He hit rock bottom around South Carolina. The Florida series is when he picked it back up.
