This is half of the LSU fan base in a nutshell.

Let's give O credit for firing the coordinators he hired after literally just one season.

It takes guts. He's doing what's right. Such a difficult choice.

Holy

fricking

Our defense is light years ahead of last years defense. Was that one a lie?

As opposed to what?
The big question is can he hire anyone worth a damn?

No, but it’s the same problem.....O believes his evaluations and they are often very flawed.

Derek has the alters working overtime. Guys these bots are pretty easy to spot. They pop to sing O's praises with brand new alters.

Woodward needs to step up and prove his worth now too.

Many hardheaded coaches every year stick with their guys after really bad years and eventually get fired after repeating the same thing, so there was that option.

Dude is a liar

How can you hire the best Coordinators when you've never been one ?

Orgeron's insistence on running a 4-3 will doom the next DC. Nearly impossible to recruit for, and antiquated against modern offenses.

So if he doesn’t make changes half your guys hate him and when he makes changes you say he didn’t have any choice. I’m starting to think most of you complainers are just dicks.

Of course he had a choice. He decided to make major changes. He deserves credit for that if they win next year.

CEO’s best quality is realizing mistakes and changing course.

This is the complete opposite of Miles.

O understands he needs to play the field again, in hopes of finding another Brady and Aranda. Some kind of internal beef occurred between him and Aranda, which explains the cheap shots O made towards Aranda and O foolishly saying that the defense this year was better than anything he saw in 2019, which was far from the truth.

At least O has come to the realization that his Coordinators will decide his fate moving forward. He’s dependent on his Coordinators and everyone can see that. O’s seat is certainly hot.

So, you construed all this as O being a Liar?
To be a Liar he would have knowingly had to have made a false statement. Pelini is (was) a well respected DC by most accounts when he was hired. O has won a Natty at LSU. Not sure how you come up with him being a Liar. Sounds like you don’t understand the English language

Obviously Ed O must have done something right because if you read the SEC Rant it is filled with Aggie and Bama fans that are lashing out because they are scared Ed O will get the hires right this time

Kinda my take. You get to clean house like this once. Hopefully it works and he gets the right folks in here, because if not it won't be him cleaning house next time.

Uh...to not change anything? Because that’s happened before at LSU.

Give the man some credit for swallowing his pride and doing the right thing. I’m sure he liked, respected and believed in all those guys he just showed the door.
