I think Durham is ahead of Berry but that’s a great problem to have.

I just don’t think we’re going to start 2 freshman defensive tackles. It’s about as rare a thing as there is in college football and usually happens when you’re desperate. I think those guys will play but it’s just something you never see for a reason.

RB will be interesting. Kiffin prefers a feature back who can carry the ball a lot. Very different from the revolving door we’ve had here for so long.

Woodland, Picket, Mack, Berry, Durham, Cooley. I expect these guys to really rise to the top despite the transfers. I’d have anding up there also but damn I feel for the guy

KR and PR is going to be interesting. I haven't seen anything about that yet. I don't really see anyone on the roster that is going to lock down those spots.

I bet KR at least has one of the RB. PR probably one of the WR

Has LSU ever had so many out of state players? Starters?

Especially backs and receivers…

Almost unrecognizable for me to see so many out of state players.

Berry will be the feature back. Period.

The kid has tools no other back on the team has. Truly, a gamebreaker back and, in this offense, is going to absolutely shine.

Berry is great but he is 187.

Dillin Jones is 5’11 213lb. It will be a 1-2 punch if anything

Dillin Jones has been ahead of Harlem Berry since he stepped on campus back in January.

I think he’s going to get the ball a good bit, but he won’t be the feature back to start the season. Lane runs a quick offense and wants a guy who can handle every facet of the RB game which includes blocking and getting 2 yards on 3rd and shorts.

I have a feeling Jones and Durham just fit Lane/Weis style a little more in 4th quarter important moments.

FTR: I hope i’m wrong. Berry is talented. He’s just so undersized for SEC football. Wish he was able to put on 15 pounds.

Isn’t Jayce Brown supposed to be our best receiver? Why would you anticipate him being 2nd string?

Also, I thought McKinley was our best interior defensive lineman? 3rd string? I’ve been busy the last few weeks so haven’t heard what has happened there. Thought he was going to be the guy there this year.
