based on what?
I'd have Anthony as my WDE because he's got more experience on defense than TK, and Justin Thomas over Farrell because I think Thomas has potential to be a really good pass rusher, but like I said, I think it'very close. That's just where I lean.
I forgot about Hampton's injury, and I really like Harris, too - I've met him he was a nice dude. I think Harris does start actually now that I remember Hampton's back stuff. I said this a while ago - Harris could give Stevens a run for that #18

Offensive Skill positions are stackkkeeeedddddd
Dayum guys seriously. We are getting TM back and Chase. Good luck with having 2 NFL WR's playing in college.
I would not be surprised one bit to see Racey get 7-10 TD's and 800 yards receiving. He was the first WR off the bench and he always did his thing. He's tall and big and runs deceptively fast with those long arse strides. He's the guy I'm wanting to watch the most out of WR group.

SS
Jacoby Stevens 3 SR
Cameron Lewis 31 SR
Jordan Toles 21 FR*
FS
Todd Harris 4 RS JR
Maurice Hampton 14 SO
Eric Monroe 11 SR
Hampton and Harris start. Stevens is one of the 13 or 14 starters" but is moving among several positions.
quote:
WLB
Micah Baskerville 23 JR
Marcel Brooks 9 SO
Brooks in front of Baskerville, who plays a lot backing up others.

RB
Chris Curry 24 RS SO
Tyrion Davis Price 3 SO
John Emery 4 SO
If Emery does not play a ton he will likely transfer. I think he'll play a ton.

Hampton will play a lot. LSU will play with 3 safeties a lot. Stevens up in the box pretty much as a LB.

whole lot of meh at WDE
I know. Bunch of journeymen who haven't shown shite, like Patrick Queen and Edwards-Helaire last year.

Does everyone have to take these post literally? I mean come on man you listed 2-7 teams. I’d put those guys against Vandy, Kentucky, TN.
Vandy would destroy LSU's second string.

If our 5-star running back is 3rd string I am going to be disappointed.
Posted on 5/7/20 at 11:18 am to crewdepoo
I think Emery makes the jump. Just so much more skilled than the other two who are basically one-cut power runners
Posted on 5/7/20 at 11:22 am to tigerrag901
As complete and potentially accurate a list that I've seen so far. Great work.

quote:Your claim was pretty outlandish. I wouldn't call the other guy a negatiger, he was just saying that your statement was pretty irrational... because it was.
Why you gotta be Negatiger
Lot's of talent everywhere on that depth chart but to think the second string could compete with another SEC team is pretty farfetched given experience, age, etc...

He's going to need to put on about 45lbs to play guard in the SEC
Why hes already 310lbs

No kidding man. It was kind of a joke but at the same time I’ve already rested my case. Don’t y’all have anything else to do? He’s a negatiger cause seems like half the folks on here are negative as hell about everyone, yet are all here for 1 thing... LSU. I don’t think I’d share a beer with half of the a**holes on here cause everyone thinks their opinion is the right one when really and truly no one knows jack sh*t
Posted on 5/7/20 at 12:11 pm to Penrod
Vandy wouldn’t do jack bunch of fruit cakes
Posted on 5/7/20 at 12:12 pm to oOoLsUtIgErSoOo
Clearly cade is a kicker. Avery is kickoff. Come on man do we gotta hold everyone’s hand out here... you get the point

Bingo the dude is already big. Give him 2 months in LSU weight room and nutrition bar and he will be perfect. He didn’t come all the way down south the be a backup

I think the Linebacker Rotation early on will be crazy until some guys step up and show they deserve the start
Posted on 5/7/20 at 1:16 pm to tigerrag901
We NEED J. Thomas and J. Cherry, or others at DE, to show up big this season. For me, it's the biggest question pos on the DEF. LBs/DBs are loaded with talent. Some proven, others waiting and I believe ready to prove they belong on the field.
On OFF, all starts and ends with the OL. Can we protect (let MB get the ball out to playmakers) and provide a crease for a talented stable of RBs

A few thoughts
1. I could envision a 3-S package where Harris and Hampton play deep and Stevens slides down
2. Would hope Kardell or Bradford win that RG spot
3. Chase/Marshall/McMath/Gilbert is just sick. Hope one of the backs can emerge as a pass catcher. No one will be Clyde but hopefully someone can fill some of the void.
4. I will be very sad if the Absolute Unit never happens for a least a few plays: Farrell Shelvin Ika Logan
