It SHOULD be bama, Ole piss, and ar-kansas. I'd prefer swapping the hogs for UForfiet or auburn. Lord don't let it be oklahoma. That just feels like...leftovers.

It's the most looked forward to game on the schedule. They've been the best in the SEC for a long time. They are the measuring stick. I prefer we keep playing them and not run from them.

My guess is two natural and one not

Something like Ole Miss, Alabama and MIssouri/Arkansas

Florida will have Tennessee and UGA so I think we lose that one

I don’t get it either

I want games against as many founding SCE members as we can where proximity is paramount for bi-yearly road games that are a relatively easy drive.

Tuscaloosa and Oxford provide that. Auburn would as well.

Road games in Fayetteville, Gainesville, Norman, Columbia (MO or SC) and even Austin are a giant snooze fest to me.

Each school should be put in 1 of 4 pods and hopefully they don’t try and tailor it differently for each school.

Why do people want pods?

Texas/Austin, Old Myth/Oxfart, and ?

Ark, Bama, TAM, Aub, MSU.

UT-Austin first priority, with UT and TAM being added, and losing some of LSU's former recruiting edge in Tejas. It's only fair to add a way to settle it on the Field, Court, and Diamond..against Tejas big daddy school, not baby brother with a barber shop & Buccee/Blue Bell boosters in bumf@ck.

Alternating year roadie to SoCo, Antone's, Continental Club, etc..Chicken Fried Steak for errybody!

Some want to play the very best. I am one of those. It surprises me even more how fans want the easy teams.

Why not Mississippi State? The two campi are only 78 miles apart

Nice work Hurricane. These groupings make sense geographically and in terms of talent level.

Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Alabama

What I am hearing from one of my friends who is a Bama insider.

It’s going to be Ole Miss, Bama, and A&M. Book it.

I hope it’s UF, AU, and Aggie

I Aggie for recruiting, UF cause I can’t stand them and the AU game is as physical as it gets when it’s good in good.

I’m betting it’s Ole Miss, Aggie and OU.

That was my prediction other than I said "Ole Miss or Miss State". I tell you what...if Alabama has to play LSU, Tennessee, and perhaps a future tough team in Auburn (and hated in-state rival regardless), the Bama fans didn't get handed any favors.

The SEC tries to do this power team, power team, and "weaker" team split, but LSU gets screwed in this scenario if it is Ole Miss, A&M, and Bama.

Ole Miss hasn't been this consistently good since the '60s.

I'd like to see LSU get back to more traditional rivalries. I'd like to see us play Ole Miss, State, and Bama every year.

Let A&M play OU, Arky, and Texas every year.

Saban killed this idea the last time around. That is what they were going to get, and a big reason why the 9-game schedule was put on hold.

make sense geographically

Apparently that's of no value in determining permanent rivalries. If it was then Alabama and Miss St would be permanent rivals as they're only 78 miles apart. Instead we're confronted with permanent rivalries like Texas A&M and South Carolina, 1,036 miles apart, Miss.State and Kentucky, 494 miles apart, and LSU and Florida, 590 miles apart.

Needs to be geographical, anything else is too arbitrary and someone will get an advantage.

They should really just cycle all teams against each other. Completely fair that way.
