2 TDs dropped and 6 passes that should have been caught.

If Nuss would tuck and run about 3-5 times per game, it would offer another dimension to defend
Been saying for a year and 2 games.. call the read option but make nuss pull it a few times early. Did wonders in the Clemson game and would open things up

It was very 50/50. They did drop a lot of passes that should've been caught but he was usually off on those passes with accuracy.
Parker should have caught that TD. There were 1 dropped by Thomas wide open and even Anderson dropped one that was easily catchable and thrown where it should have been. Then Parker dropped another one.
The receivers really shite the bed.

Like another guy said. Nuss made some incredible passes that were dropped.
PFF doesn't knock a quarterback for throwing a catchable ball that was dropped.
Don't get mw wrong, Nussmeier's accuracy was off last night. A few slight underthrows and overthrows but every single one of the drops, including the underthrow that was dropped deflected intercepted, were completely catchable balls. I can't remember a game where I saw LSU recievers drop so many relatively easy catches. There was properly 150+ yards worth of drops in that game. Even as highly graded as Barion Brown was, he had 1 possibly 2 terrible drops.

When the other Green (Donovan Green) gets on the field the TE position group will play better.
He was on the field.

It would be ideal if our right tackle actually played at a sec level, and then maybe we could give curne reps at left guard if he's ready

The Weston Davis film is going to be brutal

Trey’Dez had a 77.8 run blocking grade in the Clemson game.
That's amazing drop off. I guess playing down to your opponent is a real thing.

I know it would be obvious but I want Trey’Dez running routes and never inline blocking. I get it, but I would limit that down as much as I could

I guess Chester played much better than it seemed. I thought he’d be in the 30s or 40s
It’s a Rant narrative.

What? The underthrow to Barion Brown, that should have been a TD, was underthrown by about 15 yards. And it wasn’t catchable much less a drop.
Nuss looked wildly inconsistent against Tech. I won’t say he was bad, but he made a lot of really bad plays, and a lot of very good ones.
If Nuss won’t tuck and run when it’s there then I’d bet on a two-loss ceiling. The 2019 team would not have been undefeated without Burrow’s wheels, and Burrow was better in the pocket than Nuss.

We are going to have to change philosophys. We aren't a run to set up the pass kinda team, no matter how balanced or bad we want it, that aint us. Passing 70% of the time is our best chance to win most games because we do it so much better. Our passing is going to have to set up our run game with some delayed hand offs and things of that nature.
