I’m not saying that LSU has not been on the wrong end of questionable calls over the years. But I have a frat brother that is a SEC ref and I just don’t see him as someone who would blatantly make wrong calls. I consider him having integrity and as someone who wouldn’t tolerate being told by the SEC to cheat.
Also, he says he never gets assigned to LSU games.

I think you have a great point. We’ve been labeled as ‘whiny conspiracy theorists’ when it comes to this stuff. What the SEC is doing right now, overwhelmingly proves that we’ve been right all along. It’s not just in our minds or some statistical anomaly.
I think the refs will be under a microscope. That said, they took it out on Will Wade a few years ago.

I would have been in favor for LSU to request officials from another conference, but I like the ideal of the SEC refs being under a microscope.

We have watched the SEC fix games for years and ESPN never said a word. Why start now?
Hell, we just watched one of their darlings blatantly fix a game last weekend and they literally laughed it off.

Officials probably already have their marching orders.
They will cost LSU at least a couple of games.
It will be blatant, people will complain, espn will talk about it but in the end nothing will be done about it.

To borrow phrase from POTUS. Make the win margin too big to rig. Get the FBi involved if it is blatant as this would have major impact on legalized sports betting. RICO violations etc. Of course the interference will be hard to document as these calls or non calls have been in play for years. Point of fact look how Alabama would fall in a pile of excrement and come out smelling like a rose. Does not hurt to have the SEC office in the state. Just saying.

I for one think the officiating will be biased. Look at past years when the SEC has tried to protect certain teams. They don’t care if it’s obvious or not. It will be the late holding calls after a big play.

There's really not much we can do about it, except what we are doing here. Discuss it, mention/talk about it. This forum and social media is powerful. There is real energy behind it.
The "script has flipped" largely with more and more of the mainstream & social media sports outlets, podcasters waking up to the undeserved, hypocritical and faux outrage/spectacle that LSU & Kiffin was subjected to. With the actual facts, details and circumstances surrounding the last 2 weeks becoming more well known, understood......LSU has gained strong support and Sankey & the SEC's reputation has plummeted.
So, yes - the SEC office & their Refs will be under the microscope, and will be called out. But they can and will likely still (continue) to specifically screw us. The only guaranteed way to offset it is to play clean, disciplined, respectful, error free football on the field.....like they did against Clemson! In other words....."win the respect of the referees, media, other fan bases" by playing in a stellar, convincing fashion on the football field.
LSU needs to Over-Beat their opponents, but needs to do it while being a "Good Sport". High Quality, Exceptional, Clean & Entertaining Football will get even your opponents respect.....and in the end....their support.
Not an easy thing to do, but possible. And maybe necessary, especially this season, under these recent, ongoing circumstances! Fortunately - this LSU team, players, coaching staff appears capable of doing it!

NO - wont happen. The SEC it self would be under federal investigation if it becomes apparent. They are already under congresses nightlamp.
