I think It was between N.C. State and Ole Miss. Had Ole Miss lost yesterday I feel like NC State would have got the bid

This will be the first time in Paul Mainieri's tenure LSU will host a Regional and not be a top 8 seed.

Yeah. NC State was deserving of one, but Ole Miss swooped in and took it away from somebody. No way Ole Miss was hosting going into the week, but they played their arse off and came get a spot.
