Call me boring but aside from seeing LSU play there I just have no interest in Vegas. It just seems like an endless cash grab.

Yea, bro, I’m the one grabbing the cash.

But for real, Vegas is a great time. I love it, but it’s not for everyone.

There is endless entertainment to rival any city in the world and never gamble a cent. Concerts, comedians, Broadway-style shows, shopping, activities etc.

I enjoy gambling and I am good enough and disciplined enough to either win or not lose too much. But I have gone for multiple days and never gambled at all.

Valley of Fire State Park for scenic drive and hike(s)

Beautiful park, went twice last yr. Hiking during this trip is not smart unless youre going at 5 am.

Friday: fly into Vegas and run up credit card debt

Saturday: drink, gamble and try to forget credit card debt.

Sunday: go to game with tickets I can’t afford. Briefly think about credit card debt. Watch LSU win. Feel fleeting happiness. Remember debt.

Monday: fly home. Work Monday night in a job that doesn’t pay enough to get out of debt.

Been to Vegas several times in my long lifetime. My wife and I are driving to LV only for the two nights needed to see the game. We'll drive on to Lake Tahoe and the Redwoods parks and then back to high elevation in CO. 27 day trip. We always take one long driving trip every year since retirement and this is it.

No, apparently restaurants, concerts, sporting events, shows etc are altruistic and charitable in other locales.

Only Vegas is fake and money hungry.

Arrive last Friday night.

Saturday: Hit up the Strip and Fulton Alley. Have a nice dinner. See a good show.

Sunday: Drink all day, hit up some bars/tailgates, and then the game.

Leave Monday morning.

Not a long weekend but should be good.

Checking into Wynn.
Not leaving Wynn, other than for the game.
No reason to leave. It has everything.
