I know its going against the grain so to speak but Im thinking its #2 with some of option #4 mixed in. Because for some reason Miles believes in his eyes Jennings is better and doing everything asked of him and keeping them in most games and that's all he asks of him. Reason is because of the ground and pound scheme he wants to implement on everybody so he doesn't need a qb to throw it 30-40 times a game.

What they are putting on field right now is not impressing anyone either. Hard to imagine Harris is worse than Jennings, even though Harris has better stats

Harris isn't doing something right, as a freshman he should be keeping his mouth shut and learning the offense. If he done so he would be starting right now.

With all that extra practice , Jennings still struggles.

That's like the Olympic team picking a rehabbing paraplegic as the anchor in the relay because he works a little harder to get faster.

BH needs to call JJ and get the dirt he had on CLM so he can get in the game!

IDGAF if he's in the film room 24/7 if none of it is sinking in. Are grades earned by how many hours a student spends studying or how they perform on the exam. He is getting a big fat F on his exams

Quality post...

...for you

Have and upvote...

And I think, because Miles knows he bet on the wrong horse (#2) he's convinced himself to believe #1, #3, and #4.

I think this is a HUGE part of it. It seems to me that Harris will improvise and call the audible at the line of scrimmage. Les does not like this.

Please tell me this is a joke. Does he change the call at the line before or after staring blankly at the huge posters on the sideline only pulled out for him? Some of you people make it sound like Miles is the only thing standing between us having Peyton Manning yelling Omaha and pointing back there.

Chicken, I'll take 3 and 4. Please forward my winnings to my accountant, you have his info.

Some fault does fall on BH for miss reads, wrong turns on handoffs, not getting plays in in time

I will agree Harris has these but Jennings has them also. He goes the wrong way at least once a game. Lost count on the missed reads and plays getting in on time has been an issue since Les has been here so i don't blame any QB for this.
My main concern is Harris has no experience for next year. So when it comes to decision time, Jennings will get nod next year because he is experienced.

Personally, I think it is a combination of #1 and #4

same here. After the Auburn/Florida games, Miles realized that even Jennings playing below average was enough to keep us in games. The coaches know that Harris is the future and don't want to throw him in the fire again after the Auburn game. Instead you ride Jennings and hope the defense and running game wins you games and in the offseason you tell Harris that that 2015 starting job is his to lose.

At least that all makes sense to me

Les Miles has the IQ of a turnip on Saturdays

I'm not a farmer, so don't hate on me, but is a turnip's Saturday IQ lower than it's normal IQ?

Mostly #1...and it would likely have played out that way down 2 on the OL. No way we were gonna win that game with no OL depth. Run was over after Q1.

Apparently quarterback is the only position where certain players are allowed to make the same mistakes without being penalized.

no shite. brees constantly has made mistakes, you dont bench him. The qb position is diff than every position on the field. Every team handles that position diff. There are even rules in place to protect these guys over other players.

Same could be said of Les.

No, no it cant. Every win and every loss should be credited to the guy running the fricking program. He hands out the scholarships, he hires the coaches, his program. We win because of Les and we lose because of Les.

#3 Work ethic and maturity issues. Les won't reward that behavior.
