If you had that much trouble with the OP, then maybe there's a literacy problem somewhere...just saying
No- he Looked pathetic at start of game= A) didnt work very hard to fix the simple stuff (the handful of short pitch and catch routes which he should have practiced till he could throw them blindfolded) or b) is generally a bad player... Either way...talent issue or lazy/ entitled attitude---- My verdict on Jennings is in- I've defended he and the coaches choices long enough.
Gray dismisses a poster with legitimate concern - shocker!
Ain't it great we only have two big ones to fill? :geauxtigers:
So you are saying...accept miles, accept Jennings, and root for tigahs? Ok I'm down.

Now are you cool with me asking Jennings to fricking respect the gift we gave him with the starting job and not frick up another game start by being utterly unprepared?

Maybe we agree on more than I thought.
I'm kinda new on this forum...but I have a few questions for you Gray...

1. Would you be a good example of what people on this forum call "sunshine pumpers"? Just trying to get my bearings.
2 who made you the fricking paragon of virtue?

I really wasn't trying to spark a major depressive meltdown...just saying I'm ready to support whoever the starter is...but I have an expectation that the starter will work his arse off to earn the respect of fans who have given more than a few second chances. Starts like this week don't cut it.
That's actually helpful. I love the cathartic effect the rant has (most of the time). I'm trying really hard to get on the Jennings bandwagon. He needs to put his doubters to rest in the bowl game. No excuse for a slow start.
I guess that was a bit of a Freudian slip....but pretty appropriate nonetheless
As of now, I agree. Don't see anything changing. No coaching Or qb change. So I need to get mentally ready to get behind Jennings...I'm cool with that. I'm just asking the dud to work a little harder and not come out of the gate flat. I mean the fans were doubting him, so wouldn't you work your arse off to prove them wrong? I just don't get coming out of the gate as flat as he did
I'm been wrestling with this emotion for a while. Most of the wins we had this year (save for ole piss) had me feeling the same way. But I still should be grateful for the win, right?. So why am I cranky? (pause for the shallow ranter slams...).

I don't view myself as a Jennings or Harris supporter. I'm kinda waiting to see how that plays out in 2015. Personally, I think Harris gets the nod and miles is just waiting for Jennings to fail. Didn't happen this week. Maybe he'll surprise us all.

What's got me a bit irritated though, is that while he had an ok game, his start was pathetic. 2 complete misses on simple routes, and the turnover. All in the first 5 minutes. With all of the pressure on him to get this crap fixed, you'd think he would have been drilled to death on the first 10 or so plays so that he could make those throws cold. Yesterday he goes out and one after another spits the bit. So either he didn't put the work in to enable him to come out of the gate flawless (yes, repetition in practice will fix that!...it may go downhill after thatl, but that's why you drill the shite out of the first few series), or he's really that rattled by pressure. Don't know.

Anyway, The collapse so many expected never came. And now we wait a little longer to figure out who gets the nod in 15. Maybe Jennings is the guy, but if he is, I hope he works hard to make sure he performs better out of the gate.

I am genuinely happy for the win and hope we get a good bowl :geauxtigers:
Happy thanksgiving back at ya! :geauxtigers:
Our quality win was against bama. The refs stole it.

I know I know. I'm reaching!
The sec sure has eaten itself up this year.
He's still throwing 99 TD's ...just to the wrong team :rotflmao:
Way to kill any positive emotion before it gets started!

You're missing the point. You're looking at it as BH is better than AJ and those guys weren't better than the ones in front if them, so sitting was fine. What those of us who have pointed this out are saying, is that the argument that BH needs snaps to be better this year is proven to be simply opinion, seeing as the last two Heisman winners had zero snaps the year before winning the trophy. Game reps are not required to get better...you get better in practice. You play how you practice, not practice how you play.

Bingo! All this talk about fairness ,... Drives me nuts! If the Harris supporters would just realize that letting Jennings be the fall guy behind a beat up line, is better for their (our cause). Harris will not get the kind of experience you want him to get. Not now.
