Nah I think they will want to keep the offense rolling and the defense will feed off of that. I think Burrow learned a valuable lessen in the SE game. I think he will have a talk with his OL and offense to get them pumped up to par some stats I'm this game.

Now whether it actually happens, idk but I have the belief that it will. La Tech isn't running the football, we all know that, so DBs get ready to cover and send multiple blitz packages at these guys. Should be sack city and our defense should be ready for lots of back door plays and screens or just lots of plays in the flats bc it's coming.

I see about 3 TOs in this game. Score on defense and ST's with Burrow going for 300 and 3 TDs total. Brossette will get a couple. That's 49 points. Probably have a FG or two in there also. So 52-55 to 10-14 for La Tech. Something like that is what I see. GT

Offense needs to start clicking! defense is not gonna have great games all the time. Steve E. needs to keep working on timing and work on some screens that they can use with upcoming schedule.

None. No chance. Not after winning in that fashion. If they lost against AU, then there would have been a legit possibility of them sleep walking on Saturday.

it's human nature to have an emotional letdown after a big expenditure of emotion the prior week. No matter how much the coaches remind the players, it's just natural to not have the same intensity the following week.

So I expect this game to be a bit ugly, especially first half. But I hope we flip a switch at some point and get it together and pull away second half.

ED O should play the last five minutes of the Troy game in a meeting this week, Drop the mic and walk off...allowing the leaders of the team to properly address the fact that this type of situation is to never happen again.

LSU will not dominate Tech sufficiently for this board to be pleased. The Scoreboard will be a shite-show. There will be insults thrown at O and E. Both hirings will be questioned again and again.

Well yeah, that's what typical teams do.

Do we want LSU to be another typical team or a special team? This is an opportunity for them to prove how much they've grown.

Guys I can’t stress this enough. The letdown at slu was purely due to the offensive line which is now fixed.

This has all the makings of a trap game:
1. Tech gets to play us only once every few years but considers it the ultimate test of their program;
2. Tech is good and underrated;
3. Tech bad a bye week and has had two weeks to work on us;
4. We're coming off a huge SEC win where we were supposed to lose;
5. Our offense is still suspect
6. we are between SEC West games

No way they will be motivated for LaTech after the week they have had.

Unless climbing into the Top 10 for the first time in most of these guys careers motivates you to play all out...

This. Tech is not a bad football team. In no scenario should they beat LSU, but if LSU doesn’t come out ready to play, and let Tech get in this game early, ugh.

Saahdig Charles is hurt. Possible substitution....Badara Traore! Sorry, the guy just cannot pass block. Decent on run blocking.

Not good!

Louisiana Tech damn near beat South Carolina last year and damn near beat Arkansas the year before that.

Mississippi State whipped Louisiana Tech last year. Louisiana Tech was a turnover machine that game.

LSU can not allow the game to be close at halftime.
