No, he ran behind the defense, was wide open and turned around to catch the football, but the ball was thrown over his head.

he slowed down after beating the db, he didnt run to the ball. Mett put it where he should have, he put for Landry to go run and grab it

We owned them. But then again lsu under miles cant play offense.....

We did what we had to do. Oh and we ran all day long behind 2 freshmen.

I really hate our fans. Usc fans showed class all weekend. I want them iver UF, UT, UGA fans. Their fans are arrogantt and unbearable.

Now to the real point... we need to fire les miles and go after freeze. The rantards called it, lets do it.

Im soo impressed with other coaches, i want holgerson. He will get lsu scoring 50 pts a game. But only score 14 agaunst TT. Patterson has never lost a game at tcu, lets throw 4 mill his way. Better yet, gruden said his dream job is LSU, we should tjrow 6 mil at him.

What in God's name are you talking about? Megatron wouldn't have caught that pass... Mett was not sharp tonight but I blame most of that on the shitty play calling... Our receivers ran like 3 routes.

Lots of subpar special teams play.

Hilliard needs to sit the bench until the middle of the third quarter. Give the ball to Ware and Hill (told yall) the entire first half and no other RB! Why won't Hilliard hit the hole like he want to do damage to someone. Ware or Hill would have scored a TD where he was stopped short. And he cost us a first down after that with his weak running.

Mett. needs to throw the ball better when he feels pressure.

***********************
Positives
WR's: Caught the ball
Hill and Ware and Ford looke good
Line was blocking the arse off!
Coaches actually called a few good plays! Need a little more of it.

When this team starts punching in every drive for a td it is going to be obvious how good this team really is. Score would could should have been 51-21. This against a very sound team in Scar.

I am an excited Tiger fan.

Positive:
We Won and pretty much owned them. We showed some of our potential tonite.

Negative:
Our predictable red zone offense...3 pts instead of 6.. will kill us against Bama.. we need more imagination. When they play 9 in the box.. and we still run... come'on mann..
Special Teams.. Punting? and they actually got a great return on us...

The worst play we run, regardless of field position.

You both have a point here. Landry definitely should have run through, but even if he had, the pass might have been too long. It would have been close.

Hilliard has got to step it up. No way he shouldn't have scored on that goal line play

You know how I know you're a dumbass? Do you really think he intentionally slowed down so he could make a circus catch instead of just a TD?

- Defense is really good especially the d line.

-Jeremy Hill and Michael Ford are good.

-The young OL are better than the old OL. But they'll all be benched once the old OL who can't block come back.

- Russell Shepard is still punished for scoring a TD against Towson when the tough RBs couldnt get yards. NEVER show up the up the middle RBs or Miles will Keiland you. Ford and Shepard should know that by now.

- Redzone playcalling literally could not be any worse. Just run a shitload of toss dives until its time to kick a field goal. Maybe a really slow developing sweep every now and then with 3 blockers to account for 6 defenders or a slant for a 2 yard gain.

- Mett seems to have lost his confidence and become a slightly better J Lee

-The WR corps is horrendous. Boone can't catch. Beckham won't catch because he thinks he is going to win the heisman on every play and is too busy to make time for that silly ball. Landry is slow and awkward. Wright catches 50% of the balls thrown his way and makes sure he has one knee on the ground for the other half.

-The TE corps has more false starts this year than probably every OT in the SEC combined. I'm glad Ensminger gets a $300k paycheck.

-Lamin Barrow is a cross between Karnell Hatcher and Scott Shanle. Just bite the bullet and play Debo Jones now, he can't be any worse.

-Kenny Hilliard got SOFT. Runs straight up and at the first sign of contact just turns his back to the defender and lets himself get tackled.

-Brad Wing apparently spent the offseason practicing his heisman acceptance speeches with Odell Beckham. Jamie Keene needs to get a shot soon if this keeps up.

The biggest negative to me is by far special teams. I have never seen wing punt so bad and we can't miss short fgs. That will come back to bite us.

This is the only thing I worry about. If they let this group gel we could have the best O-line for the next 3 years. Next year we get Faulk back. Slide him in there and find a center and we will be set. I really hope Les leaves it the way it was tonight. Man think of the pressure on those young guys tonight and how they handled it. They are gamers.

Also, with the protection we were getting tonight, we should have thrown down field more. The dink and dunk worked... but I would have like to see a few more play action bombs.

The main reason our protection was so good is because we didn't give that dline time to exploit our young offensive front. The WORST thing we could've done is attempt multiple 5-step drops and/or play action bombs.

Our line played well inside of an excellent game plan but you're sorely mistaken if you think our O-Line out talented that USCe defensive front.

Yep ... expectations are high, of course, thanks to Wing himself ... but, last couple of games have not been good at all, and he'd probably be the first to say it.

Can a punter get in a slump ?
