Game 2 of the season for Michigan is @ Oklahoma. We'll see how he handles that

Yeah, this wide eyed 17 year old could be blind sided and injured on first play and they have zero experience behind him.

Seriously, shame on Michigan for paying so much for the kid. Ultimately, it may be for the best to naturally set a cap, but in the meantime it is incredibly disruptive.

Love how Brady is all about sitting and waiting for nfl rookies. Guess this doesn’t apply to college freshman?

Buddy is going to be in a tough situation in 8 months from now when Michigan fans are calling for his head

I'm happy for them. What kind of idiotic message are you sending with that Underwood play?
Dave Portnoy is a damned fool. I have no idea how he lucked into a fortune.

Just bribe their OL and he will live a miserable freshman season then transfer to the next highest bribe.

It won’t get fixed - you opened Pandora’s box and now you got to deal with it.

I’m sure Michigan will dearly miss Alex Orgi who will probably be throwing 20 ints for Toledo next year

So in your mind you think a kid that’s been in the system is worse than bringing in a portal player that did throw 20 ints last year. Because that’s all they can afford now. Great point……..it amazes me how dumb some of this fan base truly is.

When Burrow came to LSU, the QBs with the most experience transferred out. Did not hurt LSU. His backup was a freshman in Myles.

When Burrow came to LSU, Myles actually *was* the most experienced QB. McMillan was older, but hadn’t thrown a pass. Myles had played some his true freshman year as the #2 behind Etling. I get the point you’re making though.

Crazy how inexperienced we were at the skills spots in 2018.

I said it before and I will say it again...

Anything less than a natty that deal is a losing one other than for Underwood and the odds are not in their favor that happens in three years…...

This goes for the coach as well. Can you imagine the pressure on someone like Kelly, making $10 million a year, and a freshman QB making a couple of million? He's got to start the freshman and they better win a NC/Heisman.

The best outcome for college football is for the Underwood signing to be a disaster and for it to destroy the Michigan program for a few years. The more data points showing you can't buy a championship the better. A&M in 2022, Ole Miss in 2024, Michigan in 2025 would all reinforce the idea that you need more than money to succeed.

Some of you are pretty petty and ridiculous in thinking you wouldn’t do the exact same thing. He never played is for one second. But… when that type of life altering cash is thrown in at the last minute, things change fast.

Jayden Daniels won a Heisman, got a $38 million rookie contract and is a front runner for NFL ROY. What do you think he’ll get on his second contract?

JJ McCarthy got a $22 million contract, is sitting the bench behind a retread and rumored to be trade bait.

He was the starter until he blew out a leg. Darnold was going to sit the bench.
