Isn’t the same thing that happened with Eddie Lacey

Much larger scale with Lacy. He made up 6-7 high school credits from May to June AFTER his 4th year of high school (tough to call it senior year as I don’t know that he had enough credits to be a senior) none of his own coaches thought he would qualify. He made up those credits at John Curtis, not Dutchtown.

LSU could not have used Pooka or Etienne neither one of them are good

and other much lower ranked teams can run on Alabama, LSU just chooses to do it ineffectively

Y’all are stupid if you think he couldn’t play and produce in the SEC.

Sloppy tackles. Horrible angles by those LBs.

He’s got some talent but nothing to see here.

When’s the last time a 170lbs running back was successful in the sec? He’s exactly where he needs to be.

I'm not knocking us not getting him just thought these highlights were pretty damn impressive. Enjoy.

Come on man. You knew exactly how this thread was going to go when you put this on the rant.

Do we have better academics than Kansas?

I don't know the specifics, but there were big academic barriers. He wasn't even able to suit up for KU's first he against Nichols, and he barely got eligible by the second game.

These kids with grade issues usually manage to get in somewhere else. It's not like LSU is an Ivy League bastion. If he can stay eligible at Kansas he could have stayed eligible at LSU.

The concern is not that they can’t get in to LSU. The concern is that they don’t qualify under the NCAA and are forced to go to JUCO, wasting a spot in the class. Teams like LSU can’t afford to waste spots like that on such high risks. Teams like Kansas can.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe if LSU would have signed Pooka then they would not have been able to get Burrow as a transfer.

You may be right, but it doesn't fit the narrative. It's like the people that hated Obama for EVERYTHING he did - or the people that hate Trump for EVERYTHING he does.

The never Obama, never Trump, never Orgeron people are like Lavrentiy Beria, Joseph Stalin's Chief of (Secret) Police, who famously said: "Show me the man and I will show you the crime". They have their conclusion and now they're just searching for evidence to support it.

Follow recruiting dude. Kid was big time grade risk. If a kid wants to play out of state nothing you can do. Ever since Robinson took over RB position we have dropped off big time. He needs to get off his sofa and stay on Emery and Davis. We can’t lose either , we need RB bad this recruiting year

No excuse for Coach O to lose him to Kansas.

There’s a reason he didn’t get offers anywhere but Kansas. There was a better than 75% chance he wasn’t going qualify. Don’t be stupid.
