I know he was a grade risk, but they would have went after him a lot harder if he was 6'1 215. LSU and Bama recruit "grade risks" every year. Somehow at the last hour they all become "eligible". He will be a legit Heisman Trophy candidate in 2 years.

Big difference between Pooka and the guys you mentioned. Pooka has produced. Big 12 Freshman of the Year, 1st Team all Big 12, but yea he wouldn't have helped LSU's explosive offense this year.

He got 0 P5 offers, dude. He was a stud in high school playing top notch competition. No one gave him an offer.
