Club level seating in PMAC is a good idea. Bud Walton has a great set up and I believe Ole Miss has done something similar. PMAC is so outdated. This needs to happen.

I also have a want to build a new capable arena. Auburn, Ole Miss, and now Texas is building a new one.

In a perfect world LSU would build an arena, but it takes multiple years to come up with the money for something like that.

I'm sure LSU promised Wade somethinf substantial would change in a reasonable timeframe.

The O'Connell Center looks badass, and if we can emulate that I'm cool with just a renovation

The arena is getting a new four-sided video board, suspended over midcourt, this summer. The HD-quality board is scheduled for installation in July, Nunez said.

Call me nostalgic, but I like the PMAC and I think the ramps are part of its character.

I fully expect a team of architects to create a contemporary design clashing with the original concept. It will look every bit as mish-mash as the football stadium.

“The good part about it is our second level really isn’t a second level traditionally. It’s not far up,” Nunez said. “If you take that area ... Is that the best? Or is it the third level? Those are things (architects) are going to try to figure out.”

Surely they aren't dumb enough to try to put suites on the "2nd level". That would be one intimidating crowd.

Please put the student section back on the sideline instead of hidden behind the baseline.

I agree South. My seats are mid court in the second level, row F. I will be very upset if I have worse seating after any changes due to renovations.

The CAJUNDOME was built by the State of Louisiana, funded by the City of Lafayette, and owned by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Roof is an eyesore on PMAC
I'm all for decreasing seats and giving some better premium options at PMAC

Let's face it, no one shows up at PMAC in Nov or Dec anyway.

Cool. The preliminary drawings probably cost $100,000. Would love to see drawings.

This...Monroe is getting ready to build a new arena for around $100 million, so it should be nothing for TAF and LSU to build one bigger and better.

What a laugh riot. Instead of shutting down obsolete universities, our tax dollars are going to a 100 million dollar arena for ULM.

Who said a word about ULM getting this? Where did you pull that out of,LOL! It is the CITY OF MONROE building it and paying it for along with private interest. I guess you have no issue with the richest man in Louisiana, Tom Benson, stealing or extorting $400 million over 20 years from STATE TAX PAYERS(NOT NOLA TAX PAYERS)just to stay in NOLA after Katrina???

Is Monroe going to put in bids for the 1/2 Rd NCAA Tournament sites.

LSU should build a new one and host.
