He posted pics of Herbie playing his course last year. I tend to believe him.

Answers to what? LSU is long out of it.

And, no one cares that you're playing golf with Condoleeza Rice.

To Clemson, thus they are ahead of Louisville.

Then why is Ohio State ahead of Penn State?

Ask him how many games the committee members actually watch each weekend.

why the committee decided to drop us 11 spots after giving Bama their best game of the year.

I heard Tom Luginbill asking the same thing this morning on Sirius.

answers for what? There's still 3 weeks left, with big games and of course the conference championships. Lots of moving parts, no need for anyone to get worked up just yet.

This guy is legit. Works at a big time course in Arizona. He''s rubbed shoulders with some important people before.

Ask him why they don't just use a system similar to the BCS to rank the teams, instead of having a committee pick it.

All you need to ask is why a loss to the number one team, the closest win of their season, means you fall 11 spots. But losing at home to an unranked team means you fall 2. We need answers.

LSU is irrelevant so we don't have any questions

I would say so for the playoffs but does this ranking figure in on the other Bowls? My assumption is that it does.

god, that's dumb.

The BCS was 2/3 human polls, which are far, far worse than having a committee meet, discuss, and analyze, with far more seriousness than idiot pollsters who fill out their ballot in 5 minutes.

No one bitches much about the March Madness committee - they do a good job. The football playoff committee is essentially the same thing.

I'll take the committee any day over the poll-dominated BCS formula.

Never, never, under ANY circumstances, should a conference get an automatic bid with only an 8 team playoff. EVER. If an 8-4 team wins a conference, even the mighty SEC, they have no fricking business in the playoffs.
