So you’d be perfectly content with us losing a close game tomorrow (with big time SEC implications) if it means your star pitcher gets 5 days of rest instead of 4.5?

It's not about rest for his next start dude. He just threw yesterday.

Did he even hit 50 pitches yesterday?
Pretty sure the kid has throw as many as 110 at least once this year.. all I’m saying is he could absolutely be available to throw anything up to about 30 pitches and be no different come next Friday.

You don't run your ace out twice in a weekend in early April no matter who you're playing. That would be a terrible decision.

There's nothing "must win" about the rubber match of an SEC series at this point in the season.

These people have no idea what they're talking about. None.

MAYBE if we were in game 3 of a super regional or something. But even then, probably not.

It will never happen and many will get their panties in a wad over it being stated but in a must win situation I could see Skenes closing/giving 2 good innings

It will never happen. It should never happen. You take the loss before allowing it to happen.

Usc went all in game 1 and 2
They ain’t playing tomorrow

For lsu it might be good to get the staff an extra day off plus Skenes gets a little break as well as he had thrown 100 plus three weeks in a row

I think you could consider Dutton as well. It’s gonna be a terrible weather day, you’ll need a few guys who can throw one to two innings at a time to piece together a game. If Little gives us more than three innings I’ll be ecstatic.

Hurd
Collins
Cooper
Little
Money

I believe I also saw Bronzini dressed. Not sure if active.

I doubt they'd bring Guidry back after 29 pitches. They shouldn't, honestly.

Dutton is a guy I'd consider throwing again after 31 pitches. I'd rather risk Dutton than Guidry, who is also infield depth. If you overthrow Guidry, you lose a leverage arm and an infielder. If you overthrow Dutton, you just lose an arm.

Won't matter, they will never get the game in. 100% chance of rain.
