When you factor in housing, living expenses, and food for the three semesters he was here, I'll bet his folks did probably shell out close to that amount. Remember, walk ons aren't allowed to be given anything by the program except equipment to use for practice/play.
ETA: He also hasn't been here anywhere nesr three semesters.

Yawn, Not losing sleep over a walk-on. Guy shouldn't be able to play here. Got to play in the bowl game and all of a sudden thinks he is a front line SEC player. Hey Pig we had 39 players in that game, ask yourself if we had a full healthy roster do you sniff the field.
Feel the same about the LB #58 Small, if he's getting significant PT we are in trouble. Didn't believe O for a minute last year when he was hyping him to start.

Fall fee bills aren't due till several weeks into the fall semester.
Not if you attend school in the Summer too.

the nickel depth with Sage and they move any guy to nickel name Derrick too.
So we moved the #2 and #4 safeties from the 2021 recruiting to nickelback? Holy shite, no wonder todd harris is still starting.

So what you want him to do there is no option for him and no opportunity to earn anything.
You are so fricking ignorant. You said this yourself:

We have no reps for you at Nickel we moving you to cornerback
Sounds like he had an option or two

Walk ons also get the same academic assistance with tutoring, etc. that scholarship athletes do.
I’m not saying that saves a lot of money. Just mentioning it to further point out that walk ons on the roster get a lot of the same benefits scholarship athletes do.

Did they move derrick davis jr to nickel? I hope not.
In a 3-3-5 you are going to run 3 safeties sometimes and against certain teams and in certain down and distance you want that guy to be like another OLB - Davis is that guy more than Ryan and Brooks
Posted on 3/30/22 at 8:02 am to Lsufany1979
So let me get this right, I can mark you down as being anti-BK?
I hate it for the kid but this is an unfortunate part of the game. New staff and trying to get the roster right. Prob should have stuck it out a little bit longer and kept working hard, but I get it. I wish him well and hope he gets what he wants.

Didn't know what defense they were running.
So they are running a 3-3-5? That makes more sense then.

He isn't a cornerback at all. They were making him move positons.
The kid can't play corner.
I understand why he left.

Yeah so he can get buried in the depht chart and wait on if someone gets hurts to play. This man can't earn no scholarship moving him to corner a position he never played the day before Spring . Realistically speaking

Like i said too many bodies at safety.
Maybe something will click for him at corner. He was lost at safety. I'm not counting on it.
