If gardner plays safety lsu is absolutely screwed at corner.

I understand why he is leaving. He isn't an outside corner. He is a box/nickel all day. He would never see the field at corner.

I'm not complaining about anything. But TRANT was ready to bash a young man that's really trying to fulfill his dreams. I'm just telling the true story of what happened. He will prove everyone wrong and he not feeling sorry himself. Just was making a statement on here that there is two side to every story. He loved LSU and didn't want to leave. Exactly my point this whole time its just a unfortunate situation.

They is Bk staff . Coach Cook if names need to said. He was never given a rep at Nickel nor at corner when they move him. He told him had who they wanted. I think once they got Greg it changed the nickel depth with Sage and they move any guy to nickel name Derrick too.

Exactly ..that's exactly what he said. Cooks moved him. And when he got to the corner position he was buried in depth chart worst than he was nickel

Not as if Kelly signed nothing but 4 and .5 star transfers and recruits like AL snd AtM. Kid looked like he was a player.

Seems it will be greg and sage fighting it out. He was probably third at nickel.
Did they move derrick davis jr to nickel? I hope not.
Where do you think he is going to go? He should look into tulane.
That kid had heart, tackled hard, and just wanted a fair shake.

Yes they did and he took Pig out the mix for the 3rd nickel spot. That's exactly what happened. That who they said they wanted there and push him off to corner.

Yeah all of this sucks. New staff comes in and has a different plan or idea as to what you can contribute. On the flip side, players want to be able to just transfer , opt out or whatever when then want to the detriment of the teams success. But also wants the staff to be loyal to them and follow through on promises. That isn’t how this works anymore. Just like so many defend players for doing what is best for them. The coaches are doing what is best in the interests of LSU football.
