Crazy how the kicking ‘industry’ has matured, 50 isn’t that far anymore.

There's a serious cognitive dissonance in your post. The top four are all excellent kickers, but Juan Betanzos and Wade Richey, along with Ronnie Lewis were probably the worst LSU placekickers in my lifetime.

Juan Roca

LSU's first soccer-style kicker.

ETA: I had no idea Rusty Jackson died. He kicked with winning PAT against Ole Miss in '72. He was only 46 when he died.

That wasn't Mark Lumpkin who missed the EP vs Ole Miss. His name was Daniels, cant remember his first name.

Mark Lumpkin wasn't the regular placekicker for LSU in 1967, and he was never suspended. You're thinking of Roy Hurd, whose failed kicks that season result in losses to Miami, Tennessee and Alabama. Daniels missed the winning EP vs Ole Miss. Ponder that: 4 games that year fricked because of placekicks! Cholly Mac aged perceptibly that year.

Wade Richey should not make any top 25 list for his time at LSU

I remember being young and seeing Richey kick for the Niners and thinking “no way that’s the same guy”

Anything under 50 Tracy and it’s not even close. York for the long ones.

Yeah Tracy was 88% and York was 82%. York could boom them but had a couple of bouts with the yips that Tracy never had. York was a mental case against Florida and Mississippi State in 2019.
