PFF has Joe Burrow as the 3rd QB drafted. #32 in the first round (Tua, Herbert, then Burrow).

Delpit at #7, Fulton at #14.
quote:

Overreaction? Maybe. But through two weeks, Burrow has arguably the two best performances of any QB in the country this season. The difference in how he commands the LSU offense is night and day from a year ago. That confidence has led to pinpoint accuracy all over the football field, as his adjusted completion percentage went from 70.9% in 2018 to 87.9% this year.

he would thrive in any good NFL franchise. I would hate to see him stuck on a shite hole team

He’ll be drafted 32nd, but it will not be to the Patriots since they will have the 31st pick after losing to the Saints in the SB.

I’ve seen so many comparisons to Brees just with the high completion percentage and Joe Brady being here. But size, arm strength, mobility, leadership and overall style-wise, Burrow reminds me of Tom Brady.

He does exhibit that Tom Brady coolness vibe. So confident under fire.

The thought of Burrow being drafted by the Saints after already knowing part of their system and style of play is very enticing. Plus he'd receive tutelage under Brees and Payton, and fans would be behind him immediately. It's so perfect that I'm 100% positive that it won't happen. Lol

Late first early second seems about right. He will thrive in the Patriot system and they have not addressed the "Quarterback of the future" like the Saints have. The Saints have spent too much on Bridgewater to go for a first round QB in the draft.

Bridgewater is on a one year contract. He is NOT the Saints QB of the future. He's simply a high priced insurance policy for if Drew goes down this season.

The Saints traded their 2020 first round pick to New England I assume?

They just drafted Stidham and like him enough to cut long time backup Brian Hoyer. I don’t see this as his likely destination.

For the love of god, don't make a die hard Peyton fan like me cheer for the fricking pats and bill.

Please god. Give me a reason to support the saints instead.

kinda dumb considering the Patriots are really liking Jarrett Stidham. Jaguars would make sense to take a shot at him I think. Steelers are another team that might want to start looking for a successor. Wouldn't even be surprised to see the Bucs try to move on from Jameis.

Brady doesn’t have any mobility other than stepping up in the pocket. But Burrow’s attitude is certainly like a Tom Brady.

im not going that far, but i did make the comment during the game that his mechanics and stature in the pocket looks like Brady.

He stands almost completely upright and has a great throwing motion to get as much torque as possible.
