Ruggs best season would be Jefferson’s 3rd best season. arse clown statement bro

And jefferson had two years of the most accurate and possibly best qb in college football history, thus his stats. Im not saying he is not good either, just using his stats is terribly misleading. Lamb, ruggs, jeudy, higgins, etc didnt have the GOAT throwing guys open and buying tons of time in the pocket

Your argument is that Jefferson may be overrated for having Burrow while:

Lamb had Baker/Hurts
Jeudy and Ruggs had Tua
Higgins had Lawrence

Dude get the frick out. They all had seasons with great QBs. Ever consider maybe Burrow had some of his numbers because he was throwing to a guy like Jefferson?
Jefferson was the second best WR on a squad with AT LEAST 3 ridiculous targets and still put up numbers

Its a compliment to burrow. He is better than all those guys.
And hurts isnt a good argument for lamb. Tua was hurt most of this year.
Jefferson is good, but i think if most are honest about it, at a minimum, jeudy, lamb, and maybe shenault are ahead of him. Id argue higgins as well.

Pro scouts will agree

What if Burrow was so good because he had Marshall, Chase, and Jefferson?

Does he throw 60 TDs to Dural, Dupre, and desean Smith?

60? Nah, but i dont think 45-50 would be out of the question. If you didnt come away thinking he is one of the best to ever do it, then you didnt know what you were watching. His pocket presence, accuracy, and decision making jumps off the charts more than all those other qbs

It's weird. He doesn't seem like has elite speed, but he seems to run away from most DB's he faced. Outside of the UGA game, I don't remember any DB catching him from behind.

He's got great football speed, which is the important thing.

Re the Georgia game, if you're talking about the Burrow Heisman™ play... he ran a full route deep, then adusted and ran across the field to the right; and then ran back all the way to the left sideline. Probably over 100 yds on that play. I think he was just tired out at the end, and there wasn't an angle.

Joe Burrow completed just 57% of his passes last year and LSU had the 67th passing offense in the nation. He wasn't the most accurate or the best ever last year (not that it was all his fault either with our offense and only being with the team a few months before starting). Still, Jefferson finished right around the top 5 in the SEC in receiving yards as a sophomore and was huge in LSU's biggest wins.

Jefferson has been awesome. And he does not care about catching the ball in traffic and getting physical after the catch. He put in the work and has the passion, and it showed during his career at LSU.

Jefferson can still be everything the rant says he is even if it’s in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Going in the 1st is cool but it’s no slight on him if it doesn’t happen.

Well, you’d last 10 minutes as an NFL GM. Take off the purple glasses. Jefferson is an NFL starter, for sure, but he was not even the best receiver on his own team, and you think he’s the top guy coming out?

Great, maybe the Saints can pick him up

Saints seem to evaluate similarly to PFF so i wouldn't hold up hope

also, i don't have PFF access to read why Jefferson is so low, but i seriously doube that it has nothing to do with his speed/build or any combine-esque stat. PFF does their grades based on film, not physical attributes

This class is just so deep at WR. Early in the draft teams are targeting lead WRs.

Which is curious because they had him as a Mid-Season All-American and one of their highest rated WR's at that point. He performed just as well at the end of the season, the only difference is that Chase exploded more.

Someone is going to get a steal, then. Will be a better pro than any on that list not named Lamb or Jeudy and even then, I'm not sure.

The question is what value will teams place on a Top WR 2, that will compete for time from Day 1. What else might teams be looking for late 1st? It's a weak OL and Pass Rusher class.

The only WRbi would pick over Jefferson is CeeDee Lamb. I like Shenault, but he's more physical talent than polished WR. I like Jeudy too, but I still think Jefferson is all around better WR in that he can play every WR position, and he's tough and has great strength. He's not losing to many WRs in a battle of agility.

If I were to rank the top 10

Lamb
Jeudy
Jefferson (I would take him #2 WR though)
Higgins
Ruggs/Shenault
Mims
Pittman
Aiyuk
Jennings
