Damn, O isn't even coach for 24 hours and one of his top assistants is already jumping ship. The decline started early.

His responsibilities were cut as soon as O was appointed interim HC. I'm guessing he saw the writing on the wall

Feel bad on a personal level for BDP as I would for anyone who is functioning in good faith and loses his or her job, but he has shown that he was unable to produce the right results at this level, so this is the appropriate outcome. I think this was a very good first move for O. No way LSU should EVER be anything other than elite on ST with the athletes we have.
