Apparently, these players do not subscribe to the "I trust the coaches" mantra.

Some of you apologists need to serve them some of that Kool-Aid you are drinking.

I remember several times this year that Lee threw to DP to only have DP drop the ball. Yes, he could have been utilized more but on some 3rd downs they went to him and he did not step up.

I'll always remember Peterson for three plays:

1. TD at Alabama
2. Reverse at home against Bama (wish he would've made an attempt to score)
3. Getting alligator arms against Ole Miss in 2010 then pushing a defender because of it, which resulted in a PF.

He would've been a huge mismatch if used properly. Very Aaron Hernandez-esque

Yep, he pulled up on the route so he didn't get hit. Fans jumped on him for that one, I thought was kinda funny.

LOL...and he expects to make it in the NFL if he is avoiding hits? I didn't think it was funny but rather terrible.

Dude is WAY TOO SOFT to be an NFL TE in my opinion. Not saying he can't make it, but he needs to accept that contact is part of the sport.

Props to deangelo

He got his point across, didn't throw anyone in particular under the bus, and is 100% correct

Hope he has a great showing at the senior bowl and NFL career

JJ, we know, you already told us it wasn't your fault.

He and every person he mentioned has every right to feel that way... why should everyone keep sugar coating everything to cover Les??? This will not hurt recruiting, LES'S coaching decisions will hurt recruiting.

You think it's a coincidence our recruiting class this year is down? After what has been witnessed, a WR or QB go to LSU?

The wages of obstinance.

I suppose that Peterson's implicit criticism of the conservative offense must mean that he was rooting for the team to lose.

Gotta be discouraging. Hope that whole era is over and a new offense emerges

You could say the same for any receiver (including TE) not named RR and he "disappeared" the last two games. You think it is their fault?

24-3 last two years, two top 10 finishes, sure we wasted LOTS of talent...

I will look for him this afternoon and see what he is willing to say. I know he is a Tiger and still loves LSU

An LSU tight end/receiver not being utilized properly?

SHOCKING

Maybe he should be more focused on that than running his mouth.

I do think he could have been great with Mett though, as with Rueban and hopefully Shep.

Peterson, 23, is in town for the Senior Bowl and he hopes neither that last disastrous outing nor a career in which he feels LSU under-utilized his talents will keep him from his dream.

Maybe if he gave some effort and didn't shy away from contact he would have been used more...
