People like you would have lost your mind about Coach O if Danny Etling got hurt and LSU went 5-6 last year. But it happens to Jimbo and he gets a pass.

To some of you, Jimbo is nothing but his worst season.

To these same people, O is nothing but his best season.

You need to sign up for the next Olympics with all of these mental gymnastics you're performing.

I don't even know where to begin with this shite. Jimbo won a national championship and was extremely successful at FSU. You can't even compare him and coach O...as far as the Etling thing I guarantee you Deondre Francois meant a lot more to the success of FSU'S than Danny Etling was to our season.

So the entire success of FSU's football team that was lead for 8 years by Jimbo Fisher hinged upon a sophomore QB? He was the head coach who recruited all of them to the program. And he couldn't do better than 5-6 with the other 84 scholarship players?

You're making my argument for me.

Do you even watch football? You think losing a star QB isn't going to have an affect on a teams record? If you just have a game manager type QB then obviously that can more likely be overcome. But Francois was expected to have a Jameis Winston type season for them. Whether he would've or not who knows but it was a huge drop off from him to the backup. And if you watched any of their games you'd see that Blackman progressed and got better as the season went on. Whether it was coaching or just gaining experience who knows.

Coach O is serious about putting a strong fence up around the state and keeping the recruits home!

hey i give credit to O for bringing someone in that has run some type of spread at ULL. If anything he can add to the playbook with some spread plays.

Which is why LSU is an elite QB from being a great program correct?

Thanks for making an informed, rational comment that actually had some thought behind it instead of some of these other folks that just look for any reason to fly off the handle and be negative no matter what the reason

i agree, it is sad people are getting upset over an analyst hire. The more the merrier.

You saying A&M will be a top 10 team next year? He is getting 7.5 mil what is acceptable?

You really think it's just THIS hire?....no its watching LSU have a subpar offense year in and year out. It was ultimately why Les got fired cause he refused to change and try to fix our shitty offense. Then O comes in and preaches that he recognizes the problem and that he's going to hire the best offensive coordinator in the country and let him run his offense. Well that doesn't happen cause evidently O wouldn't allow Canada to do what he was brought here to do. So O runs him out of town and no real search is had and instead we stuck with Ensminger, who hasn't been an offensive coordinator in 20 years, running the show.

It's frustration from fans who are sick of being told and expecting to see a new and improved offense year in and year out yet every year we get shitty offense again and stubborn head coaches that evidently can't see the same shite we see week in and week out.

They're closing the gap on LSU, that's for sure.
