2. We do not have the financial advantages a lot of schools have.

While this may be true, we can all agree that there are a lot of institutions out there that are far worse off from a financial standpoint.

Out of all those listed sports the only 2 that really matters is Baseball and Women's Basketball. All the other's don't really mean anything

Why do the others not mean anything?
The point of college athletics is not to entertain. Yes, suits have exploited the entertainment value of some sports for monetary gain, but ultimately the sports are for the athletes/students who play them. And for the pride of the alumni and university.
Yes, there is a business element. But as Long as someone is willing to pay the bills, why not compete to the highest level we can provide.

The two most important ones, but great job Woodworth!

Football will be top 10 preseason next year and will be absolutely stacked for a run.

Do you really care about that if the athletic department is still in the black?

Or are you just looking for a reason to complain about our athletic department doing very well because you are mad about basketball?

Anyone who claims they give a single frick about any of those sports, except baseball, is flat out lying.

While this maybe true for some, I'd imagine for people that live outside of Louisiana, especially those in Texas like myself, it's nice to brag about LSU being better than someones else's team, regardless of sport. My sisters boyfriend is an OU fan and it was great to be able to give him crap this past weekend for multiple sports. More so for me, I have gymnastics as my #3 sport behind Baseball and Football, solely because my wife, whose only tie to LSU is marrying me, roots as hard for LSU in gym as I do for baseball and football.

Where are you coming up with this shite? LSU's 5 yr average recruiting ranking pre-NIL was 7th in the country; post-NIL, the average recruiting ranking is 8.5, and that includes a year in which we signed half a class due to firing our head coach, and last year in which we were a flip away from landing the top HS class as well as the top portal class. In terms of collective funding, LSU is at the very top. LSU is arguably in as good of a position as any other program in terms of talent acquisition due to location and donor support. Your "the sky is falling" narrative is really weird and not based in reality.
