Cool.
Fournette deserves to get some easy 4th qtr touches against worn-down defenses.
Seems like he gives all the body blows, and others get to have the knockout punch.

No idea if this is true or not. If it is, I can certainly understand the concern. However, if Miles were to cut his carries they also be bitching about that.
It's a contact sport and unfortunate injuries happen. You can't dwell on that. LF7 has a special talent and a team to contribute too. He also has a future to think about, but if they are scared of injury then they need to quit playing football.
My opinion, Ben Love doesn't know jack and he's speculating. I wouldn't be surprised if his family got a little scared after seeing what happened to Chubb and many others. But at the same time, you know they want to see him succeed and that's not really possible without the ball in his hands.

Auburn - 19 carries
Syracuse - 26 carries
Eastern Michigan - 26 carries
S. Carolina - 20 carries
TOTAL - 119 carries in 5 games

15-20 touches a game would be fine. No use getting him beat up. Heisman should be a distant consideration. This is prep for the NFL. Don't overuse him this season and he will be back next year. We have plenty depth. Guice and Williams will be glad to pick up the extra carries. We over do the I formation anyway.

LF hasn't ran for 30 carries in a game yet so WTF they complaining about if true?

Sounds like this guy is stirring shite. Even if this were true, has yet to carry it 30 times so this is much about nothing.

He is only getting around 25 carries a game which is the norm for a starting RB in the SEC and the closest he got to 30 was 28 carries against Miss St in first game. I think Les has down a great job with limiting him when needed and it all depends on game flow. Think he will continue to see 22-26 carries a game.

Williams has been looking a bit more stiff as a runner this year. I like Guice getting the primary 2nd carries.he got it al.

Les has done a good job managing Leonard. Last year he did not work him as hard as he could have (Arkansas game) mainly because we were out of the running for the SEC. Les will use Leonard as much as he has to to win, no more. And I believe Fournette has no problem with that. If I were a family member of Fournette's, I would be concerned with his health too but not based on how Les has used him so far.
