So what? Just like anything in life what you do is what matters........ If he's one of the best it will show up on the field.

Not being in the 247 20 best returning SEC player list won't hurt him, LSU or his NFL career.....

It’s so true. The only ones worse are radio talk show hosts. Could you imagine those troglodytes trying to type out words and sentences to form a coherent piece for publication??

Amazing how many people in this thread didn't actually read it was based strictly off highest returning PFF grades. Only oversight to me is including Paris who basically didn't play last year. There should have been a minimum number of snaps played to qualify for the list (like 250+)

This just shows that rankings are meaningless. White would start for any team in the country. Dude is a beast.

wrap your mind around this statement:

quote:

Paris is a fifth-year senior who enters 2018 on the outside looking in as a starting safety behind Grant Delpit and John Battle, with Eric Monroe also pushing hard for time. A Texas native, Paris has never totaled more than 10 tackles in a single season.

You didn't read the article, did you? The list uses Pro Football Focus's college rankings which will inevitably be skewed for players like Paris that did not play a ton. It has nothing to do with 247.

They did use a picture of what looks like Daniel Hunter tackling Dak as Paris's picture which is pretty funny.

Exactly. These guys are trying to crank out anything they can to meet a quota and get paid. That’s why we see these useless lists ad nauseum all summer

To be fair, Hurts would likely be a pretty terrific slot back. Guy is just simply not a QB.

Clearly White just is not very talented. No drive. Poor work ethic...

Who cares about 24/7? I don't.

You don't even know if he can catch or run routes properly. You're just saying that because he's black.

He’s probably saying that because he’s an elite athlete, but good on you for bringing race into it.

People use the composite rankings, not 247 alone. They're just the only service that provides it.

Just FYI.

I'm just pissed we offered Divinity, but not his teammate Dejon Harris. I knew that dude was going to be a stud. I was scratching my head at why we didn't offer.
